Kid loved it!
We put this to test and the kid loved it as well as enjoyed it! Pretty good quality if you ask me although he didn’t catch any fish lol Great for beginners and it’s pretty simple to use. What was included was more than enough to set up for fishing. Portable with its own bag which was convenient and light!

It's a great starter set up for a 5yr old,only that the reel is less quality than what I expected other than that the accessories that came with it is a plus!

Simple affordable child's starter rod
This little package was purchased for my son for his first fishing outing at local lake, and I must say enabled him to enjoy and engage with learning to float fish without having to worry about lifting the arm on a standard rod reel and line tangles. The reel is as simple as hold down the button, release when you flick out and then adjust the slack with the handle, then wait. The accessories are ok and for the price cannot fault, the rod handled perch, roach upto 2lb over the 2 days we had without issue. I Would recommend this product highly for someone looking to take young children fishing

Perfect for our 7 year old
Our boy was super happy & impressed when he opened this gift for his birthday!! He usually has a go at mine, but this is the perfect size for him & it comes with PLENTY of accessories to get him started off!

Damaged product
The handle on the rod came broken. And also once it was extended , the yellow part was damaged and would not go back down. Very disappointed in thus as is my son who is very upset as he was looking forward to going fishing.
