Why does this have L histidine in it? Doesn’t that turn into histamine???

No idea. This was recommended by a PA who I used to see and then by a homeopathic healer (owner of a health foods store). I’ve provided it to each of my physicians since then to make sure it is safe. It works wonders for us. I recommend talking to your doctor to clarify your question.
