I use the pink in the summer & the red bottle glossy moist in the winter. I have used the pink as a makeup remover/face wash/toner (no go on waterproof makeup) works great can't beat the size & price. Yes it has a smell, like fermented grain, but it basically disappears unless you plaster your nose to your skin. I have migraines & smells bother me, this does not. I only had a couple pimples appear in the usual places as you would with changing any face/body routine and have noticed significantly less breakouts moving forward than with other lotions. As a body lotion: I am someone that has trouble shedding dead skin, leading to dry bumpy skin. I use this lotion/Wavertree & London bar soap & shower pouf daily, and a Dermasuri exfoliating glove about every 8 wks. It has completely changed my skin, it feels plump & springy again. Age is early 40's, face a mix of oily & dry.

I like this because it's so light, but still plenty moisturizing. It has a water-like consistency that sinks into your skin almost instantly, so none of that slimy/tacky feeling that most moisturizers give you. I have sensitive skin, along with eczema, and I haven't noticed any adverse reactions whatsoever. It's so light I can even use it on my face at night without breaking out. It does have a heavy sake scent, which is not the most pleasant, but it evaporates within like a minute tops and doesn't smell like anything after that.

I use this product for toner in my skin care routine. Works very well, I have sensitive skin so I thought it would burn my skin a bit because it had an alcohol smell but it felt good on my skin!

Good value, this lotion I literally use all over. In the summer, this is enough to keep you plump head to toe. In the winter, I use it under my body lotions. I use this on my face as well of course, and make cotton masks out of it. Been using this lotion for over 10 years now it's a must have in my skincare rotation. I'm addicted to the sake smell as well.

Certain textures really bother me especially when I have wet pruney hands out of the shower (thanks adhd). The watery texture of this does not trigger my sensory issues. It's quite moisturizing so I slather it on after bathing. People with dry skin may need more especially in the winter but it works for me.

Although somewhat pricey, this moisturizer hydrates skin well and a little of it goes a long way. It helps to reduce minor/light wrinkles when used effectively. We find that it works best after you wash your face/skin with warm water to open your pores. Then use this products to hydrate your skin.

These are cost effective and have been gentle enough on my face; however, it would work best with skin that is definitely of the oily or combination types. I think using this as part of spot treatment for problem zones would probably work well - which in that case, this set will last a long time. It does have a distinct scent, reminiscent of sake to me. I don't mind that, but others might want to consider it before trying it out.

I bought this product for my mom. The texture of the toner is light and hydrating. Still smells like sake to me at application. Thankfully dries without smell.
