I was happily surprised that this little inexpensive item did exactly what I needed it to do— it fit, was easily adjustable, and adds a little extra storage. Mostly though, it provides a useful arm rest when I need it, but it is totally removable when and if I don’t. It is not gorgeous or anything, but it serves the purpose very well and feels solid enough to last. It does not block my access to tech and dials needed to operate my vehicle. I purposely installed turned backwards as I found that in my particular vehicle (Mazda CX-5) it worked better and was more comfortable that way. Also, the easy height adjustability allows it to be used for different drivers who prefer a higher or lower seat adjustment, or for me when I sometimes just want a higher or lower armrest. I only wish it was offered in a white color that matched my seat. The beige is not a match, so I went for black as the next best option.

I drive about 1k miles in a 2016 Chevy Malibu weekly. The armrests in that car are non existent! I have a torn bicep tendon and elbow pain, and he strain of driving was making both excruciatingly painful. I love this armrest, and would recommend it 100%. There are only a couple things I will point out that hat could be a bit of an issue- I am a large woman (tall 3x) and there are times that I feel the armrest pressing into my thighs depending on position. If you are very large and your legs generally rest against the center console, this may be uncomfortable for you. I slide it forward a bit so that I can buckle in and then tilt it back. Because of the narrow edge of my console, I can’t use the second cup holder as the “lip” that keeps it from sliding down is just over the edge. I can live with it, but it makes it so that the tiny edge of the cup holder trim and the seat belt connector don’t allow me to slide it back a bit more. I can’t use it too low as it would interfere with the shifter. Most of these issues are because of the design of my specific car, and may not be experienced in a different model. The only true complaint I have is that if you accidentally pull up on the armrest, you can’t lower it back down a notch one handed. You have to be in park to adjust it down. Adjusting up is one hand and easy. I also wish there was a “stop” on the arms so that it would prevent the top from fully sliding out when you accidentally pull it a bit awkward and yank the whole top out. Even with the few design flaws, I am very happy overall, as it is a way cheaper way to fix my car without getting a new one! Since I have gotten this, I’ve used it every day and my orthopedic doc is very pleased with my reductions of symptoms in my arm. I too, am pleased as I am gaining function back and pain is reduced just from the addition of this great product!

Love it, helps with being extremely short I can't rest on the console so this armrest is perfect and has a place for junk change and receipts.

This product is built very well, but depending on your auto, it can be too close to you to be practical or too far (on the other side of the console) to be comfortable.

I purchased 3x and it kept breaking. Works well until it fails after a few weeks.

Fits perfectly in my 2020 Nissan Rogue! I use it to put all my nail clippers, cough drops, chapstick, etc Does not make noise and easy to adjust to height that you need. This made driving longer distances so much more comfortable

This worked for awhile. It fell off. It won’t stay on. This is a great benefit as I commute 76 miles one way daily for work. I use it as I and short and can’t use the conduje built into my HRV cause I sit close to the steering wheel. Once it’s in place, which is super easy to install. It sits over the cup holder area. So basically it’s supported in two ways. The compartment is great. It holds napkins/tissues. It just doesn’t work. I feel like using gorilla glue to see if the rods stay in its slots. Then figured it’s not worth it. This is my second one I ordered. I don’t even use it at its extended length. So there’s no reason to it just falling off its rods. I’m disappointed and sad.

Good little product that does the trick of needing a comfortable place to rest my elbow. It gets in the way sometimes but it is super easy to just readjust as needed. HOWEVER for some reason it is showing as returned when I did NOT return this item. I returned 2 others that I ordered with this one to try out to see which one worked best. I guess I will need to reach out to Amazon but I can't figure out why or how this happened. The item is still sitting in my car so I definitely did not return it! Strange!
