Dorman300-202 Power Steering Pump Pulley Compatible with Select Models

We used it, as recommended, for a 2004 Chevy Venture. It seems to work (just installed), though you cannot put it all the way back as the factory one because it will hit the engine's body.Insert it till pass 1/8 of an inch before reaching the end; though for other cars it may be flat with pump's axle end, as it should. Material is steel, much better than the factory plastic which was cracking on the top.

1986 cutlass with a gen 5 454 and stock accessory bracket serpentine belt. Pully is all metal. Install required a socket spacer to line it up.

I dropped a LS 6.0L in a 71 Lemans. Pulley was hitting the steering box so I tried one of these. Some people said it would turn the pump to fast but I have had 0 issues and no difference in my power steering feel. You do have to push the pulley down further then normally to make the belt line up So if you ever have to pull it off may be a challenge with out the right tools.Its metal not plastic so very strong.Works great.

Will need a pulley kit but is easy to install.

I like that its smaller and fits without hitting the gearbox. But I can't get it back far enough with my pulley tool.

This is WAY better than the plastic version. After a year the plastic one was as brittle as plate glass, the slightest touch of a tool would chip pieces off. This aluminum one is very nicely welded, and machined.
