Q: Does the blade design really keep things (vegetables etc.) from sticking to the blade?

It depends on how sharp you keep it and your knife skills. No blade is non stick and I distrust knives with grooves on them that claim to prevent stickage. Keep it razor sharp and use good technique and you’ll be fine.

Q: Is this for veggies only or does this knife work well on medium-to-hard cheese, as well?

I have found it to work with cheese also. Usually provolone, have never tried hard find cheese but it should be fine.

Q: Is the vegetable knife primarily for righthanders?

Hi Bungalow Bill! To answer your question let me begin with our Phantom Series knives which feature a traditional D-Shaped handle, making them more suitable for right-handed users. While they can still be used by left-handed chefs, most find it takes a bit of adjusting. Whereas our other Series of knives are all ambidextrous tools.
