Fantastic portable device. Great value for money. Wouldn't be without it
As I say in the video, I upgraded from the irie pre and that was very susceptible to things going wrong with it. I think I'd about three or four of those because it just wasn't robust enough for me. But for what I use it for, which is I do a lot of singing and acting with a mental health group that I run, and plug it into my phone, which is a Google Pixel 8. I use a splitter so I can still carry on charging my phone. The XLR cable, which I didn't mention in the video, goes straight into the whatever mic it is I'm using, and off I go. There is no barely any hissing on the game right up to level eight and a half nine. There's no delay, you can hear yourself in real time, and for its price point, I don't think it can be beaten. I've done a load of research on other ones because I'm going to buy a second one, and I've tried them, and this far outweighs it, so I would highly recommend it.

Waste of money
The Phone mic is still being used and not the external mic through this device. Can hear the external mic when switching on “direct monitor” which I’m guessing is just a bypass to my headphones however in garage band and the app that you have to download it’s still using the phone mic which I’m obviously trying not to use. Don’t know how to solve this problem and after hours of wasting my time going down rabbit holes, reading manuals, registering accounts, downloading apps and watching YouTube videos trying to figure this thing out I’ve given up. Save your money and buy something else. Too much hassle, not intuitive, not user friendly

Still uses mic on my iphone instead of the external microphone
Still uses the internal mic on my iphone. When using Direct monitor to test I can hear the external mic, but once I record on my iPhone it just uses the iPhone mic - which means that the product doesn't work because I want to record using the external mic. I tried many different methods but it still proves faulty.

Doesn’t work
Despite picking up my external mic in the monitor it will NOT pick record the audio from the mic on my phone and only uses the phone mic.

Great piece of kit. It got rid of my problems. Thinking of buying another one.

For those of you who love to record live gigs, this is ideal. I bought this device so I could record clean audios and videos at the same time so there's syncing in real time. Gotta say the audios come out so clean and there's no problem at all in using any phones, easy to connect to. Quality is excellent 👌🏻 just need batteries to have it function and an XLR cable to mixer. About the price, that could've been a bit lesser as their company app doesn't exist or work and it is a small device too with just a belt strap and a short cable to connect your phone to. And some batteries. Perhaps cable could've been longer.
