Very durable
My son is OBSESSED with guitars. We got him this one for his birthday and it has exceeded expectations. He is very rough with it and it has withstood many throws and bangs. The sound is fabulous too. My Husband is a musician, and he can tune it accurately and can play it as well. My son is 3 so it’s a little big for him but he still loves it. Worth the buy!

Buy it!
LOVE, LO LOVE , LOVE, LO LOVE, LOVE!!! Perfect for my 11 year old nephew. He is very talented with music instruments and I thought this would be a good gift for him. The guitar is beautifully made, great quality, comes with everything you need. He started to pick up tunes as soon as he grabbed it. Awesome for first time guitar players. I’m super glad I bought it.

Great starter guitar for elementary aged children
I bought this guitar for my son for his sixth birthday. It’s still a little bit big for him, but he has always run a size smaller than his age. The clip on tuner is fairly accurate, easy to use and I was able to use it for our ukulele as well. It seems like it’s made out of pretty good quality material and is a perfect price point for someone who’s interested in trying something new. If you know how to play guitar already it is pretty easy to play, but if you are a beginner, I recommend getting a paint pen and painting the fret counters on them. That is the only criticism I have, especially since it is a beginners guitar. The dots to help newer players easily find the right cords.

what you need to know
The media could not be loaded. This is the daughter on my fathers amazon account, writing to give my personal experience. The guitar is great, I'm 17 and 5'0, so I'm short and the 30 inch is small and cute but still tactile. It works great especially if you cant reach around the neck of the guitar as easily. Tuning is a little weird with the thing but I just use a app called "guitar tuna" because the one given with the guitar doesn't make it sound right on certain strings. The strings feel a little weak but still durable and useable, had it for two days of playing and no complaints so far. The price is worth it. I did a song for the review "house of the rising sun" and learned it on the channel "1234guitarrando" if you wanna learn it for yourself (I'm a beginner and learned it in 15 minutes). Hope this helps!

Not bad at all.
I have to say that I am impressed. While I must admit that I'm a beginner at guitar (I'm a former drummer that can no longer play due to health issues), I learned a lot about guitars from an old band mate. This beginner guitar sounds nice, and is of a better size for me to learn on. I have an old acoustic, but the body is far too large for me.This guitar arrived a little over an hour ago. No nicks, dings, or cracks on it. Checked the screws on the tuning machines, everything was good. Since the headstock is more of a classical style than a regular acoustic, I took off the steel strings that came on the guitar and replaced them with classical strings (nylon - medium tension). While it's going to take at least a few days for the nylon strings to stretch out enough before they stay in tune, I did get it tuned up for a bit and played a few chords. The guitar sounds wonderful, with a good bit of volume. I think I'll enjoy learning on this guitar. If you decide to get this guitar and go with nylon strings (which you should), unless you go with 'ball end' strings, you might have to look up how to 'tie' the nylon strings onto the guitar, as some nylon strings that you can get will not come with a ball end. I had helped do this on a guitar decades ago, but needed a refresher course, and found the information online easily enough. The reason I say you should use nylon strings is because they require less tension than the normal steel strings. Since this guitar does *not* have a truss rod, you want to go with strings that do not need as much tension. Using steel strings can cause problems with the bridge piece (breaking or coming off), the neck (warping), and the tuning pegs. You might be able to get away with using light or super light tension steel strings, but that's your choice. I'm sticking with the nylon strings. They bring out the sound that I want from this guitar. They're also easier to learn with as a beginner, as they don't hurt your fingertips as much. Yes, it will take longer to build up the callouses on the fingertips, but hey...less pain when learning can be a good thing. But again, for an inexpensive guitar, this one is a good deal. As with any instrument, if you're not sure if you, or the person you get it for, are going to maintain interest in learning the instrument...going with an inexpensive instrument like this is always the best idea.As for the other bits that come in this package...the picks are good, the case is good enough to keep dust off the guitar, the strap is not all that great, and the tuner is pretty much garbage because the battery cover does not want to stay on (I have another one just like it, and it has the same problem), and the pitch pipe is 'meh'. The main thing you want in this package is the guitar. Just get some better strings, a good tuner (I have a 'Snark' that wasn't expensive), and a decent guitar strap...and you're set.

A great beginner guitar!
I’ve had this guitar for 8 months and have played a few times a week. It has been a wonderful beginner guitar for me while I’m learning to play. No issues, such a cute color and stays tuned. Highly recommend!

what you would expect for price
The media could not be loaded. I had bought this because i wanted to start guitar but i really didnt want to spend very much money on it. it was cheap, fast shipping and came perfectly in tact. when i opened the box the tuner was broken, which set me off and i was upset but also this guitar dosent TUNE, which tuning is the one thing it needs to do, the one time i tired tuning it the first string broke and it just wouldnt tune.it dosent sound like a guitar, it sounds super cheap and plasticity. i feel a cheap walmart ukulele would sound better.i cant be too angry because this is what i paid for but i am super disappointed and wished it was a better product.

Good for the cash.
It's fun. You can play with the tuning a lot. It is a good time. You can feel like an old school blues musician. The gig bag is not very good.
