Awesome tailgating grill!
Very little assembly needed. Seems to be well built and works great. You can fit 4 to 6 burgers on the main rack plus a pack of hot dogs on the top rack. Was great for tailgating.

Excellent quality and portable.
This grill is really nice. Solid construction, portable. Lid has latches and a solid handle for carrying. Stainless steel is nice. Heats up quickly and cooks great.

The product is great, but the company that made it is terrible.
The grill itself is excellent...well-designed and made. HOWEVER...mine came with a missing 'bolt' (screw)...one of the two that hold the handle onto the lid (the instruction booklet says the two bolts were 'pre-installed' (which means screwed into the handle), but mine were not: I found one of them in the bottom of the box after I'd removed the grill and packing material: the other was completely missing. I immediately called Royal Gourmet, and a lady told me what to do. I completed the form she provided by e-mail, and returned it to the company, requesting replacement of the missing screw. Over the following month, I called back three times, but voicemail told me to leave a message each of those times, which I did. Now, more than six weeks after delivery, I've never heard from the company. Its customer service is NON-EXISTENT...really worthless (I did find a replacement screw at Ace Hardware, but I should not have had to go to the time/trouble - 45 minutes - and expense - $4.00 - to do that). I guess it just wasn't important enough for the company to consider it worth responding to. So, you're taking a chance with this company, which obviously doesn't honor either its commitments or its customers.

Great quality. Need special tea and cooking pots to close the lid for proper heating
It seems to be great quality. But it's really not hot enough to boil water with the lid open. (It does get between 400-500 degrees when the lid is closed. More expensive grills this size have 2 burners that go to 20,000 btu. However, I chose this one because it seemed to be, and indeed is, better quality than similar priced units. Doesn't melt or warp or catch fire. Quality finish that won't chip. Easy to clean. Temperature is easily controlled. Stable and balanced and holds heavy skillets well. Dials, handles and connectors seem sturdy and won't break easily. Easily carried by the lid handle after locking it closed. The 2 of us go tent camping for 2 weeks at a time. We cook a lot, and have a small crossover vehicle. So the size of this grill is perfect. I would like to find a way to use wood chips with this grill for better smoke flavor on meat. I'm sure I'll figure something out. But I don't see an obvious place to add them. I'll keep this grill but I will have to find a short, fat tea pot that has a metal handle that won't melt -- or 2 small camping tea pots (we drink a lot of coffee!) That way I can close the lid to get it hot enough. The same for the frying pan (I've seen a medium sized cast iron pan with 2 short side handles at wlmrt. That should work fine with this grill.) We always use heat protection gloves so hot handles aren't a problem. I wish it came with a carrying case. For now I guess I'll use a jumbo shopping bag to prevent scratches, and keep the car clean from grease and soot. I'll cough up the $40 for the cover they sell separately eventually I guess. Overall great grill, especially for the price. I'm satisfied.

Quality
Have used magma grills for years both on a boat and home. This grill is far better for a third the price. Lighter lights first time every time. Gets up to 400f quickly with the lid closed. I always use a grill pad to ease cleanup

Good grill but not impressed with the stainless steel
The grill works great no complaints but trying to keep it looking nice not so easy. Not sure I like the stainless steel. Would definitely go with a black grill. Good value, easy to use, nice size.
