When I was looking for a book to read I came across Self-Made Success.  As I was reading the description of the book it made me realize that this book covers the whole picture.   So I trusted the process and what an amazing book this is!!!!Mr. Patel wrote a book that truly connects with the audience regardless of the level of success you have attained.  If you are looking for a place to start, this book lays down a simple path to start off and a framework to grow from.  His sharing in how to align your mindset for you to succeed will tremendously help you create faster results.   Also Mr. Patel does not hold back and shares how to make everyone fall in love with your business by giving the clients an experience as amazing as possible.  In todays fast pace business world, client experience is such an important factor.If you are a very successful person this book is also great.  This book is a reminder in how to continue creating the success that you have already created.  A successful business blueprint! When reading this book I found it very easy to dissect.  Mr. Patel wrote each chapter with 4 main lessons:1) Success Strategy2) Success Example3) Success Practice4) Success ReviewHis communication style allows the reader to truly connect with the message and take it to practice by following these 4 simple lessons in each chapter.This book is so enjoyable to read!  It really gives you the footprint of an all around success method.  I am sure that when Mr. Patel was writing this book he truly had in mind the success of others and that is what I call LEADERSHIP.    Reading this book will totally help you follow the steps to create amazing results, live life in a happy space and share your success with others.Mr. Patel I want you to know now that who you are and what you do really makes a difference in the world. I REALLY enjoyed reading this book. It's great life tricks all explained in an easy to understand format. All of these are paired with a personal story. I loved it and will be keeping this book close as a reference.

I first saw Shaan on Shark Tank, and later found a list of books he recommended. (You can find this list in his book as well). I read a lot of books on that list, and I enjoyed most of them! I think that our reading preference is similar, so I decided to buy his book as well!I was hoping to get a glimpse of behind the scene from his Shark Tank experience (which I got). And I was hoping that he would reflect on the books he read (many of which I read as well), which he did. 2/2 as far as my expectations were concerned.

I first decided to pick this book after some realizations that I could do some practical things to improve my life. In my case it was a wavering discipline that was beginning to set upon me.So I turned to “Self-Made Success.”What attracted me to this book was that the author had conquered some of the greatest obstacles in the academic and business arena. I think this is the book’s greatest value, the author has practiced what he preaches, inspiring you even further.And I was not disappointed. The book was written in a format that made the concepts easy to remember. It was entertaining and contained great, real world examples that illustrated the strategies in action.The day after finishing the book, I now had the techniques and the confidence to tackle the challenge that had been gnawing at me for months: waking up at 5am.After months of constant failure, today is my third day waking up early!

Great read, impossible to put down once it's picked up. Truly appreciate the author's tips and strategies on how to make changes in everyday habits to achieve success in all aspects of life. He uses great references and shares awesome stories to help understand the concepts. Personally, this book inspired me to continue reaching for the stars and motivated me to work twice as hard to achieve my goals. As a student, I would recommend this to other students and other individuals who aim to achieve success in their lives. The concepts discussed in this book, once applied, will instantly help bring positive energy all around your life.

I bought this from article written by Mark Cuban ( apparently ) and I'm extremely disappointed. The book really is written poorly, the chapters follow a strange structure and is more like a work book ( without the work ) and goes chapter to chapter trying to give examples of how he is "successful".The whole thing is built around Mark Cuban invested in him because he willed it, but nothing from Cuban himself. It's just repetitive info that is in all the other guru books out there with little to no practical advice or expertise. Napoleon Hill, The Secret, old worn out principals etc. pretty much all the useless junk get rich quick authors put out.We get it, you got a perfect SAT score and you started a prep program. You don't even go into detail if the deal was executed and what he did to help your business, where is your relationship with him now. It's self serving and seems like a get rich quick book with Mark Cuban being a the bait and you being the switch. How does this give you the ability to give advice to others? Please pass on this anyone, you can all this and more from a guru course from a youtube ad. Wish you the best, but dang, I got hoodwinked.

The success strategies are really strategic and easily implementable.The reference provided of books are useful.This book really rocked.

The author wrote about anything and nothing, repeating himself and useless information. He wasted my time totally and I wouldn’t recommend reading this book to anyone
