Love the series. Very well written, and the poster that came with it was cool. The box sleeve that the books are in was slightly ripped.

Delivery and condition was good. As for the books themselves, very interesting, if you like a magic world with different kind of magic, this book will do it for you. it has humor and action, mystery and suspense.

Really enjoyed these (and the other VE Schwab books I've read which were the Shades of Magic series) . I think I preferred Shades of Magic, but mainly because these felt more like a story type that's been done before. I think these were a bit more like the Steelheart etc. books by Brandon Sanderson and felt a bit same-ey to me, but I actually think these were better than his superhero-themed series so if you haven't read those I would definitely read these, or at least read these first. I felt like the pace could have been a bit quicker, or maybe there could have been a few more layers in them, but they were still enjoyable enough.

I was really excited for this edition. But sadly it was damaged. ( still the story is so beautiful so I highly recommend reading the books as well as schwab’s other works ❤️)
