not for side windows

The description says "Sunshade blocks out glare on the side windows of your vehicle". In CA we are not allowed to tint front side windows, so I got these to put in my side windows in addition to the sunshade I already have for front windshield. However, these are not for side windows, they are for the front windshield. There is no mechanism to hold them in place on side windows. Directions on package say "pull down visor to hold in place". Nice sunshade, I suppose, but not what was described and not what I wanted.
