Smart Outdoor String Lights H7015, 48ft RGBIC, IP65, 47 Scene Modes

This is my second set. The first set lasted at least 5 years, might have been longer. Then two bulbs would only come on yellow and one bulb wouldn’t come on at all. This was after many years use - every night! So I ordered my second set and they work great. App controlled only! The first set had a remote control to keep up with. I find the new App harder to use, more complicated and not laid out as well as the the old App. Wish is was the same.

This is just what we needed. We have a gazebo in our back yard and needed a string of lighting not more than 48' and yours fit the bill. Most other companies offered only longer string lighting. I also like the idea of color changing lights because we also decorate the gazebo during the holiday season. We tested the lights out and they work well but have not set them up yet. When we do, I will edit this rating and share a photo.

Very featured and the price was very good. I wanted wifi / Alexa ones, but those were more than 100 bucks. These were around 30 and so I just use a smart plus. They will change and pulse to the music and you can program each bulb individually. Very cool. Can be daisy chained as well. Great budget option for outdoors and let's you stick with Govee. I only buy Govee lighting now. They have proven the best, brightest, most functional, longest lasting - I'm taking them home to meet my mother soon, that's how much I like this company. Why don't I marry them you ask? Well, because I don't want to spoil such a good thing. Mind your own business.

Update! I contacted Govee customer service and they handled the issue quickly and sent me a replacement. I hope these last longer than 2 months :) I had bought these lights before and after 4 years my dog decided to chew the wires. Bought a replacement set in July 2026 and here it is Sept 2026 and already they don’t work! Last night the lights began strobing like there was a short and I ran outside to unplug them. I tried to plug them back in this morning and nothing at all. Yeah not paying $60 again for them to only last 2 months.. too bad because I loved these lights.

Buyer beware, none of the listing information, app or setup info tells you but these lights have major restrictions. I bought these to go around my pool and due to some quirks in the fence/buildings I needed 3 different strands to make it work. Lights came in and all strands worked, so I connected them, hung them and plugged them in. After going through the app 2 of rhe 3 strands would work and nothing I did would make the 3rd work. Digging online I see there is a 150 ft limit (which i was only at 120ft) and possibly a 2 strands limit. This information is no where until you get deep into help forums. I decided to buy a 98ft strand and reconfigure the design to make it work with the additional 24ft strand i still had. Still under 150 ft and now it would be 2 strand so it should work. Wrong. The 98ft "strand" is simply 2 strands daisy chained together. Which means I still could not cover the area I needed. Why offer a daisy chain option if its not going to work? Ill be finding a much better product after I return these 4 boxes.

I got these lights for my patio. I love Govee products I got the smart outlet plugs and fans for the inside of my home too. The app is easy to use and I love that I never have to search for or keep track of a remote. These lights change to so many different colors and you can customize the sequence of colors too. Perfect for your patio on a beautiful summer night.

I’ve heard great things about Govee, especially how customizable their products are, so I picked up a set of their lights. Spoiler alert: there’s a lot to love here, but also a couple of head-scratching quirks that left me wondering what they were thinking. First, let’s start with the good stuff. These lights are *gorgeous*. They’re vibrant, fun, and offer endless customization options. Want a festive red-and-green combo for Christmas? Easy. Feeling patriotic on the Fourth of July? No problem. Need a spooky vibe for Halloween? Done. You can truly make these lights fit any holiday—or just your mood, really. Setting them up with Bluetooth was simple (pro tip: make sure both your Bluetooth *and* location are enabled), and once connected, they’re an absolute blast to play around with. Now, here’s where things get a little... puzzling. The lights have a port that seems like it’s designed for daisy-chaining—a feature that would let you connect multiple sets of lights together. Awesome, right? So I bought a second set of the exact same model, thinking I could just plug them into each other and create one glorious strand of holiday brilliance. Well, not so fast. Despite the manual *explicitly* saying you can daisy chain them, and despite the extra port clearly existing for that purpose, connecting the second set of lights to the first did... absolutely nothing. No power, no lights, no magic. I even double-checked the manual to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one scratching my head—others have had the same issue. So, do these lights require some secret ritual to make the daisy chain work? Do I need to plug both sets in separately *and* connect them to each other? If that’s the case, what’s the point of the daisy chain feature in the first place? It’s either a design flaw or a feature that never made it past the planning stage, but either way, it’s a big letdown. If I’d known they couldn’t be connected together, I would’ve looked into a different set of lights. Now I’m stuck with two sets that both need to be plugged in separately, which is annoying and feels like a missed opportunity. Bottom line: If you’re looking for stunning, customizable lights and don’t need to connect multiple sets, these are fantastic. But if daisy-chaining is important to you, I’d recommend looking elsewhere unless you’re ready to deal with some frustration.

Arrived a day early and nice to have some lights on during the dark nights after the Holiday season. This is my second Govee item and they are good quality. Installed on deck and so far working well with previously installed Govee App. Lots of options for scenes and colours and changing the speed of moving lights. The bulbs are very light weight and so far have stayed dry after one night of heavy rain. The timer and is helpful. Tip: Figured out the timer requires setting two lines: one line for "On" and a second line for "Off".

Perfect lights for under the gazebo. The range of colour's are pretty awesome. Pre-set settings have some cool configurations. The DIY function allows you to make your own custom configurations. Phone app is easy to use and setting them up was super easy. All in all 10 out for 10.

These are great lights, they are bright and work well with the app. The selection of colour options and the ability to create different custom lighting is cool. But I was under the impression, from the photo of the box, they'd work with Google. They don't. They're Bluetooth only. I guess I would have realised this if I'd paid attention to it being absent in the description, but it is misleading to have it in the photo. It's a shame the ones with Google assist are quite a bit more expensive too. Good lights, just disappointed about the wifi.

Govee has the best products, I love these lights and especially enjoy the various themes which we use all through the year. The price was so good!
