Great quality!
My hamster loves this coconut substrate, the quality is very good and really absorbs the pee smell (not like the sand that makes it worse). The only thing is the quantity for the price, I wish it has more product in the bag. Other than that I would recommend it.

Convenient
A bit expensive for how much you’re getting. The cheaper alternative would be to buy bricks of peat, submerge it in water, and then leave it out to dry. Buying bags is much more convenient if you don’t have the time.

Great for a dig box and boredom breaker
Our hamster loved a dig box filled with this. We used a cookie jar on it's side, set at an angle so she could crawl in and out easily. She dug and played in here a lot!

Hamster sneezing!!
My hamster loved it but it was so dusty, she could not stop sneezing, it was so sad. Now after removing it, she stopt sneezing and feeling itchy. Overpriced aswell... big waste of money

Bag arrived mostly empty
I received my order today, but I’m very disappointed with the amount of product in the bag. The product is advertised as 4 liters, and the listing photos show the bag looking almost full. However, the bag I received is only filled to around one third. The coco peat is also already fluffy and not compressed, so the difference cannot really be explained by expansion after opening. Because of this, the product feels very misleading compared to the listing images and description. Considering the high price, I do not feel that the amount I received matches what was advertised. Otherwise it’s pretty good quality and I will use it for my hamster.
