Great for NAS build
Used this for a NAS build and seems to work well. Setup was easy and straightforward. One irritation, you can't seem to set USB to permanently boot first in BIOS, but other than that, it's a great little board.

Great board for the price!
It's really amazing that they can produce a motherboard with VGA, DVI, HDMI, PS2 keyboard and mouse, 3 USB 2.0 (plus a header on the board for front panel ports), 1 USB 3.0, 1 PCIe x16 and 2 PCIe x1 slots, 2 full length DDR3 memory slots and a CPU at this price. Heck, it's almost as cheap as a Raspberry Pi, and for $10 more you can get a quad core processor (Q1900M) instead of this dual core.It was a little picky about the memory, though. The OCZ PC3 12800 memory I had wouldn't work, so I had to order a new stick (I LOVE PRIME!!!!!).Also, I was disappointed that I wouldn't boot through the USB 3.0 port. When I plugged my LINUX stick into any of the USB 2.0 ports it worked fine, but I was looking forward to the added performance of booting through USB 3.0 >:^(Still, it works great as the heart of my new NAS.

Painfully slow
I knew this motherboard was going to be slow but 6 hours for simple updates... This is painfully slow. It takes over a minute for YouTube videos to load. I'm surprised that this even exists.

great for a file unraid
Hello all,I used this board for a basic unraid server. it works great able to copy and paste at the drives speed which is about gigabit or 100mb/s. I guess the only reason to stay way is if you are needed vm as well as file services.but for a basic file server 50 is not bad at all. Thanks

I love this board!
When my mother board in one of my older systems failed (which I'm sure had nothing to do with the fact that I was constantly changing parts in it and damaged a PCIe slot), I decided to look for a low power board to replace it since I had relegated it to just being used for internet stuff and being a file server for my other systems. I was not disappointed in this board. It was able to boot from a clone of my previous boot drive, which I hadn't been able to get any other board to to, so all I had to do was purchase a new windows license since my old one was OEM, update to Win 11, which my old system couldn't do. It only draws about 10 watts when idle, so I just leave it on all the time. It does not have built in WiFi or USB-C, I may add USB-C using the PCIe slot (I have to get a different case to do that) and USB Wifi.

Two strikes and your out!
My first two were either DOA or the video was not working. I have used AS Rock for years and always worked the very first time. This third unit finally met all expectations and worked. Ordered another one to replace a ten year old mb. With a parent company like ASUS, quality is assured.8/22/24: Got to watch the DNC last evening and see Kamala's acceptance speech. Just perfect viewing and no glitches for that two hour event.12/23/24: Just got my 4th one today. Started up and booted and into Win 10 the first time. Just replaced my set of 11 yr old DDR3 2/8gb after getting weird error messages. Good to go as always.
