No. I can't tell it's doing much. A good ion generator does gather in dust. You should also smell the ion from your generator. This product be best for maintenance in a small room. There are commercial type I bought for under $100 that kick the snot out of odors. Smoke, vermin smells too. It has a fan with a handle and timer.
