New JAPAN Panasonic DVD-RAM 4.7GB 3x Speed 120min LM-AF120LA Pack 20 Tracking

RAM represent a vastly superior format to rerecord HD shows for future play back My recorder uses these and I am impressed at how well they do. It is a pity that DVD recorders have passed out of the market ( Manufactures-BIG mistake!) Can any of you still Remember VHS vs Beta? The ruling still stands in Sony vs Hollywood , so there is no reason to not reintroducing this product to the slumping market. None the less, Bring DVD recorders Back! As you may guess, I have strong feelings about this, so if you have a DVD recorder that can use RAM get some and try them out.

I own 3 Panasonic DVR Recorders, one of which is a combo DVR/VHS Recorder. DVD-RAM is an amazing format. I record tv shows and edit out the commercials right on the disc!!! I purchased 2 five packs of blank discs which I did not use for several years because I am able to erase and reuse my other DVD-RAM discs. Imagine my dismay when I finally tried to use them and found out they were not compatible!! I decided to give this 20 pack a try since I knew I could return them. The discs are great! The labels are white and can be written on. My favorite Amazon purchase in years because my DVD-RAM Recorders are no longer obsolete. Great price for the 20 pack.

These dvds are great!! They work on the Panasonic recorders I've tried them on including the DMR-EH 69, DMR-EH 50, DMR-EH 85 and a DMR-EH 80. They work like the discs that were that being sold in America 16 years ago which I have over 400 of. Of those only 1 became defective, maybe because of improper handling by me. I've already ordered another two 20 packs and will continue buying them.

Bought 5 of these back in 2012 for $10.95 I used each one for hundreds of times on a a variety of Panasonic DVD recorders.Sometimes I noticed a few problems in the beginning of some of the DVD's like drop outs etc.Probably from rough handling.Decided to order another 5.Surprised that the cost had gone up to over $65.00Found these for less then $45.00 (20 DVD') with points that I have.Dont know what I am going to do with 20 of them?Down side of these is you can not high speed copy them to standard DVD disc's.Also these will only work in Panasonic machines.

I ordered these without knowing for sure whether they would work with my (now somewhat dated) Panasonic DVR. It took about a month for them to arrive from Japan (arriving right on schedule) and I tried them with great trepidation, only to discover they work perfectly. No need to format or adjust. This is that rare instance when you can buy an imitation of a product that is no longer being made and it performs without a flaw.

I am very satisfied with the product received (the Panasonic DVD RAM Discs), the only problem I encountered with the purchase was that I initially received a package of only 10 Discs, instead of the 20 Disc Pack as was listed. I contacted the Amazon Customer Service Dept. and the error was quickly, and very efficiently, corrected by their most helpful personnel. Amazon issued me a $10 credit off of my next purchase as compensation for my inconvenience which was certainly not requested, or expected, but was certainly surprisingly most appreciated. I was definitely impressed!

It seems like there's always a couple that don't work they tell me that the lock is put on them then I can't record them so I have to throw them away and the same thing happened this time but when they work they work well...

Returned the product. Even though I was led to believe that these DVD-RAMs would work on my Panasonic DMR recorder, they each showed up as unrecognizable and unable to be used in my machine. Very disappointing. Amazon's prompt return process was great. Sorry I had to return them, but they just didn't work.

Excellent product. I'm using them to transfer my VHS tapes to DVD. The bonus with these are the plain cards inside each case letting me make a note of what's on each DVD.
