Perfect fit and fantastic texture. Another reviewer mentioned it not fitting and being too small (with pictures). You have to remove the existing faceplate, which I don’t believe she did. You also have to slide those top two “tabs” under the controller shell and everything will fit perfectly in place.*edit* looks like that negative review was removed. Hopefully she got it figured out!

The product itself looks nice but the mold they’re using to create this is off where the controllers built in microphone sits. The plate creates pressure against it causing the microphone to act as if it’s being constantly activated. I had to use a dremel to grind the opening a little deeper to fix this myself

This is my 1st controller mod and it went so smoothly. The trim shell is the easiest mod ever for the PS5 controller. I found it easier to pry up the ends of the original black shell with my fingernail instead of the tool it comes with, but use the tool to lift the rest of the shell off. New one fits perfectly, color is on point exactly as described, smooth glossy finish.I also modded all the buttons and triggers from the same company. I watched a very clear YouTube tutorial to do all the mods, suggest newbs do the same, controller works perfectly after reassembly, couldn't be happier!

I'm a sucker for wood and wood style decor, so this customization fits perfectly in my home and it really makes the controller look premium in my honest opinion. I haven't been able to nab a PS5 just yet but picked up the extra controller that I know I'll need. Needless to say, I'm buying a second one of these for the controller that comes with the system.

Overall a painless purchase! It was easy enough to remove and install, price was good and it also came with the tool for the job.Notes: this cover plate adds a little but of a bump where the OEM cover is and essentially fills in that gap / dip Sony has from the white to the black. This is not a con but a welcome boost to comfort of the controller ( see photo 2 ).Pros:- Quick installation- Well made fit- Bold color- Good priceCon:- No instructions included ( had to YouTube how to take off the OEM cover plate- installation is a bit scary but over all doable

Awesome looking faceplate for the PS5 Dualsense. It changes colors in the light so you get different color tone effects. I also notice it changes color hues based on your hand or room temperature. Absolutely stunning to look at! I notice a lot of ppl say it doesn't fit but I assure you, it fits exactly like the original faceplate. You have know how to install it properly, so make sure you Google it or look it up on YouTube on how to install it correctly. You do NOT need to alter anything on the faceplate to get it to fit. Some ppl are just too lazy to learn how to put it on the correct way because it is kind of tricky.

I am obsessed with these! I have 2 controllers and I ordered the decorative shell and buttons in purple to green and could only get the buttons in purple to blue (I was able to purchase the decorative purple to blue plate just today). Install was more complicated than I was expecting as these are the first controllers that I have ever modified and I almost gave up while doing the first one, but I stuck with it and it was totally worth it!! The 2nd install was much easier. They come with NO instructions so you do have to find a tutorial on YouTube. You'll want to make sure you have room to spread out a little with a lot of tiny pieces and good lighting. All my pieces fit perfectly and I couldn't be happier with the results!!

I like being able to identify different controllers. For the last four console generations, I never had two controllers of the same color. Sony has yet to release any controllers other than white, so I had no choice but to get a second white controller. I stumbled across these as I was looking for controller skins. The wood grain classes up the controller quite a bit, and the material seems to be better quality than the OG trim piece. I guess time will tell.I definitely plan on buying more if I ever need a third controller, and I may even end up replacing all of them. The OG trim piece looks terrible next to the wood grain. Hopefully they'll make more wood colors. A deep cherry red and/or a weathered gray wood grain trim piece would be amazing.

Product arrived well packaged. Looks exactly as advertised. The tool they provide to remove the original faceplate works really well.

Good from far but far from good. These don't fit like the origanl. The plastic bulges up over the lip of the controller. The bottom part that curves under is not curved enough so you can see and feel where the edges of the trim is sitting unlike the origanl that is flesh orever so slightly lower then the white controller plastic for a clean look. Also the PlayStation logo cutout was not trimmed properly amd the hole so the speaker sounds as well had the same issue so unfortunately I hade to trim the plastics a bit so it would fit over the PlayStation logo. The cutoutfor arpu d tge speaker does jot sit clean ' yes I obviously made sure its was all clicked into place' The plastic is cheap white, hard and brittle. The paint is poorly done with many spots missing around the edges. All issues came on both the orange and green trim parts I bought. Likely to have the same issues with the fit on every trip part. The replacement O-rings did not fit like the original and felt rough when rotating the thumb sticks. The Sony original one's are much much smoother and not as lound when the stick hits up against the when playing a game. seems of but I think Sony uses softer plastic with their plastic O-rings and are not molded the same as the originals. The are missing a click tab on both so they are not the same as the original.Seeing how cheap these are I would not reccomend buying anything from ExtremeRate. Over all I would not recommend these for the PS5 controller.
