I own toyota corolla, and I think this product was not meant to be used for such small cars. It is not high enough when you hook it up and load it with ~120 pound electric scooter, it is touching the ground even when there is small bumps on the road. I tried to add a wheel at the bottom to keep it up but the wheel was not strong enough and broke. I think the manufacturer can easily offer something like this and it will be great product for small cars as well.The advantage of using this product with small car is that you don't have to tilt it to load/unload the scooter since the slider aligns with the sidewalk.Since this is the smallest version of the carrier (and it is good enough to fit my 3 wheel electric scooter); it looks nice when it is lifted up when I am not using it.In my opinion, the biggest design issue with this carrier in general:It is very hard to un-tilt it once you load the scooter. You have to use all your strength to push the carrier to align the handle at the same time push the handle to lock it in position. If you are a guy maybe this would not be an issue but I am not a strong person and I live alone and each time I have to do this it becomes a great challenge for me.

I bought this carrier because at 46 ponnds, it is the lightest I could find in Amazon. I have a carrier also from Discount Ramps a bit heavier by about 25 pounds.I assembled this item, good asembly instructions. The only problem I had was the small pin for the spring handle, kept coming off. I inserted a small wire into the hole twisted it and now it is secure. Perhaps a bigger pin or even a small bolt would be more secure. The other comment I have is the thin alluminum on the top of the carrier linning the edges, in some areas were dented I guess from shipping. But with a smooth wrench face I was able to fix the dent.Overall a good product and well designed. Hopefully the aluminum parts of this carrier would last longer. I have tested this item with my mobility cycle on it, drove it around my community. Very secure with my ratcheting latch. There are four holes on each end of this carrier that looks like reinforced and designed I think for the the secure latch.

It takes two people to install on yur car even with the optional wheel dont belive the picture of the 90 year old man using it NO way and its real hard to get it to drop down so you can roll off the scooter We still like it but its not as easy as they make it out to be well made product just a tad difficult to use

It's very hard to slide the ramp out when the scooter is on it. I like the fact it's light weight I have a very small car so it doesn't weight the car down but it's hard it get the pin out to drop the lift the scooter does stay secure on it

It is a little hard to load scooter on.

Too much hassle getting the ramp out and your hands get very dirty. We will be buying a different one to use.

Horrible ramp. Did not work right. The tilt function was nearly impossible to use. Emailed the company with photos and they wprked with me to get it replaced. I decided to buy one without the tilt function.

Great product easy to set up and use.
