Efferdent Retainer & Denture Cleaner Tablets and Dental Bath, 4 Tablets

Yes these are as effective as polident or even the dollar store kind One is no better than the other. They all clean with persulfate if you don’t believe me read the ingredients. There is no brand better than the other. My dentist taught me this and he’s right. They all clean very well and very gently. Now efferdent would have you believe you need a separate one for overnight and another for a three minute soak. So does polident. But there is no difference. I bought these because of the price. I clean the toulet as well as my false teeth either these. I also clean the coffee pot, the dob dish, heavily stained coffee cups there are so many uses for these tablets. Nothing makes your toulet nicer and it smells like peppermint when you’re done cleaning it. Drop 10 in the toilet wait 40 minutes brush flush when water is clear and no longer blue. 10 in the washing machine and put it on hot heavy duty loss run washer sllvthe hard water stains all b filth gone. Same with dishwasher. When it’s in the longest cycle and heating 5 will do. Your dishwasher will smell like peppermint and be so clean

I use this for my new partial. The container is nice, I like that it has Efferdent embossed on the top of it.Comes with 4 tablets and already ordered more tablets.The water turns blue then turns clear by morning. Not sure about the toothbrush yet, it stared back at me lol ... it was brushier than a normal size brush.

I have the clear plastic Essex retainers from my orthodontist. I used my Sonicare to clean them everyday which did keep them clean but these tablets do an amazing job. Brought back a see through clear look to my retainers in almost all places 10/10

I love this type of container to keep on my counter to put my retainers in. I don’t use it for travel, so I can’t speak to that, but it is perfect for me needs.

I do not wear dentures. I do, however, wear a dental guard at night because I grind my teeth as I sleep. The guard manufacturer suggested denture tablets as the best way to keep them clean between wearing. So, I purchased this kit (I needed the lidded cup). The tablets do a good job of keeping my guard clean and odor free. I did take off one star because the the cup is VERY cheaply made, and the lid will NOT stay attached over time (I'm sure) because the plastic tabs are quite flimsy. I take great care when I'm handling the cup each morning so that I do not break the lid off the cup. Also, the tablets are not easy to separate. The perforations are very small and it's easy to tear into a 2nd tablet while trying to detatch one from the set.My grandmother always used Efferdent when she cleaned her dentures, so I guess that's why I was drawn to this brand.
