This small casserole with lid is clear glass. It's the perfect size to fit in my lower height toaster oven (flip up Ninja). This fits well and is easily cleaned in the dishwasher. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. We've had 40 year old Pyrex similar to this and we broke the lid. Perfect for small left overs top pop in the microwave

These are wonderful smaller dutch ovens. These are what they say...in all functions!

This 1L round casserole dish is excellent for cooking my morning breakfast, oatmeal or quinoa. Compared to my 1.2 L rectangular Pyrex casserole, it weighs about 1/2 as much; it is thinner. It's much lower weight, plus its more convenient shape, makes it easier to handle as well as hand-wash. The glass is tempered (the Pyrex is also), so it is unlikely to scratch or scuff. I would have given it a 5-star rating except for one notable exception, gas bubbles in the glass. The first one I received had several (5-6) small gas bubbles in the glass. One of the larger ones was near the center bottom of the casserole. It was so close to the surface it was bulging up above it. Concerned it would eventually break, I accepted Amazon's return/replace offer. A replacement arrived quickly; unfortunately, the replacement has similar small bubbles. Because all of the bubbles in the replacement are quite small, and none of them are close enough to the surface to bulge it, I decided to keep it. I've been using it for about 5 weeks. It has shown no signs of deterioration so I'm optimistically projecting it will last a long time. Jan 31, 2024 Update: I've continued to use this casserole as stated above. It shows no signs of deterioration (the tiny bubbles are stable) and I continue to enjoy its great functionality. I'm quite happy with this purchase.

This is the perfect "small" casserole/leftover dish. It's totally glass, so both the bottom and cover are oven-proof and microwaveable, plus can go into the dishwasher. I have two others which are similar in size and use them constantly. It's great for serving hot vegetables or any other side dish when you don't need a full-size casserole dish. It was packed extremely well, with cardboard between glass lid and bowl.

I had been looking for heat proof bowls with a secure lid for steaming smaller portions of vegetables in the microwave. Most heat proof bowls were either too big, or didn't come with a het proof glass lid. All of these did and they are just the right size. I like the handles on both the bowls and the matching lids. Makes them easier and safer to lift out of an overhead microwave.
