I'm not paid to review, and I don't review often, but wanted to take the time to review this headset. If it has any bad reviews I wouldn't believe them. This headset has really good quality, no surround sound or anything but sounds great, what I love is the microphone, It is insanely clear, I and doing some light voice acting for video games and this mic works well since I don't have a professional setup just yet.SOUND QUALITY - Excellent, I don't need anything better than this except maybe surround sound. but for this price thats fine.MICROPHONE - Excellent, higher quality than any other headset I've ever had. If it gets any better I'd like to see it.CELLPHONE CONNECTION - Mic and Headphone jacks are separate so no.. not by default...VOLUME CONTROL - Doesn't have microphone volume control but does have headphone volume, so take that into consideration.BENDABLE MICROPHONE - Its stiff, some people need it to bend but I don't so it doesn't bother me.

Edit: So my mic somehow is not working anymore. It doesn't pick up any sound that I make and for some odd reason, it only picks up noise that the computer makes. Say that I'm playing a game and I press to use my mic it doesn't pick up my voice but only picks up the in game audio noise. I can't figure out why though.So I got these on sale but this is my honest review. Reminder I am no expert with these kind of things, just an opinion from an ordinary person.Sound: These headphones work well in sound quality. Though I'm not used to it, it has depth and gives bass the attention it needs.Comfort: It's comfortable. But for someone like me who heats up easily when focused on games, it gets kind of uncomfortable so I have to take it off. Wish they had an airing system that keeps me cool but that's another thing. When I start heating up the headphones become noticeable and start to feel uncomfortable. But other than that, it does well in making it comfortable for you assuming you don't heat up.The ProblemSo I got these headphones specifically because I was looking for headphones with a mic built into it. It turns out that I can't make it work. I don't know what the problem is but my windows 10 and 8.1 cannot recognize my headphones having a mic. I even have the headset adapter but it doesn't work. So here I am stuck with a decent headphone that can't make the mic work which made me sad but I got these for sale so oh well. I really do wish I can get some help though.Overall the headphones I got for the sale price was worth it. It did surprise me that it came in a bag not in a box though.

Update: 1/6/2016From 5 Stars to 3I've been using these actively for several months now.The sound is what you'd expect for a ~20 dollar headset. I've never tried out the mic as Mac decided this laptop style did not need a mic port (grrrr).I loved them... right up until the lights decided to stop working, and the right earmuff stopped working. I have to get very creative in twisting and positioning the cord wrapped around the mic shaft juuuuust right so that the wire connections do their thing and allow me to hear audio out of BOTH earmuffs.The glowing lights have yet to come back on, and I'm not holding my breath.I should probably drop the rating one more star, but I personally still love using them and so my rating reflects that, but I'm an odd duck.Oh, a note: When I'm wearing them, I can't hear the surrounding noises of my environment hardly at all, which is what I wanted. However... if anything even so much as lightly TOUCHES the earmuffs, OW OW OW loud scratchy noises! More so than it should be, imo.

Unfortunately, the headset broke about a week after I got it, but that was by my own doing and not at all the product's fault. So my review will be fairly limited.It was so comfortable and I loved the lighting! I never got a chance to test out the microphone quality, as it broke before my adapter arrived, but the sound quality was fantastic. This was definitely my favorite headset I had ever purchased and I'll probably buy a new one very soon. It's worth the money!

I want to love them - the sound quality is nice, they're very comfortable, and they look cool. The deal breaker for me is that the microphone simply stopped working after a few weeks. I haven't mistreated them in any way, and there's no visual sign of damage to them, but my computer doesn't register any audio from the headphones at all. There are the briefest flickers of audio detection when I plug or un-unplug the mic from the jack, and sometimes when I push the mute/unmute switch from side to side, but that's it. Unfortunately, something on the inside just failed. I have no idea how prevalent this problem is, or if I just got really unlucky, but that's one user's experience.

I bought these 5 years ago. I needed decent quality headphones that had a thick wire because I had a few pets that would just chew through wires.These headphones have been with me through 3 PCS and 2 houses. These bad boys are still doing great. I am able to wear these for hours and hours and they are very comfortable.It looks like these aren't available anymore for purchase but I will definitely be buying another headphone set from this brand in the future once the time comes.

When I first bought I could only hear low-volume sound and mic was malfunctioning. I don't know who does their soldering but the headphones came with malfunctioning and cheaply soldered circuits. Just open it up and see the job they did inside their circuits. Whoever is doing their circuits for them should be fired. The circuits are such that the shipping process itself could easily rattle the circuits apart. They should rebuild their whole circuitry to be more durable and make better products to keep their loyal customers.
