Purchased as a gift for a 3 year old. The maze is cute and the pen/magnet situation seems to work pretty well. The resolution on the image isn't the highest quality, so it looks kind of faded. But otherwise this is a cute little maze.

I'm so disappointed this didn't work out. It is cute, but the magnets were not strong enough and the wooden pieces that are supposed to turn were jammed. All the little beads were stuck then on one side of the board because you couldn't get them passed. Seems to be an issue with this toy for other people too

The magnet is extremely weak, so it's hard to trigger some of the "secret" mechanisms. If I knew how to replace the magnet I certainly would. My tot really wants to play with it, but he gets frustrated when the balls constantly drop on their own accord. Getting them past the octopus proved near impossible for him simply because it wasn't catching the mechanism when he'd try.Despite the huge flaw, my son is always eager to play with it

The magnetic wand was lost within a few days. Would have been nice to have it attached better. The magnet is a bit weak and difficult for a 4 year old to maneuver. Of course, the whole point is to make it challenging to build up their dexterity, but instead, he lost interest very quickly.
