Hawaiian Kava Root Powder 2oz.

First time trying… not sure how to comment on taste because never had before. Comes with plenty

I’m an experienced kava user, will definitely buy this one again. It has a lovely daytime, no anxiety, get things done effect for me.

This is a great quality, however it is not a sedating strain of kava. This strain is really good for daytime use for a cerebral buzz or relaxation during stressful situations or to Target pain relief any holistic way. everyone I have shared this kava with has loved it. I can't wait to try more of your products thank you very much.

A coworker brought this back for me after a trip to Maui where this was sold in some kind of shop, the details of which I do not know, I DO know that it was not a kava bar.This taste? Tastes and smells like a vanuatuan kind of kava, somewhat spicy, piney, and… kava-yThis powder is a little bit darker and finer than typical kava that I’m used to. There is a graininess in the prepared grog from particulates that made it through my pretty fine filter “sock”.This kava is a fairly balanced one.The price was astronomical, she bought 4 2oz bags for 60$.That’s insane for buying if from one of the places where kava is actually cultivated, there are no export costs. I typically buy a pound for 55-70$ from reputable sources.Now for why I left a 3 star, I cannot find anywhere that says that this is noble kava. I want to believe it’s noble, but there are a ton of brands that are fishy. Tudei kava is what is bad for your liver and is made with the aerial parts of the plant (i.e. stems). Whereas only root should be used.This is a dangerous game to play, but I paid 60$ for it so I sure as heck am gonna drink at least 6 of the 8 oz I have.I will update this if MauiMedicinals provides me with adequate proof of their kava being certified noble.

Just a good overall kava powder, I liked the amount I got at this price, and it was nice and relaxing for a chill feeeling. I usually just mix it into a drink and either down it or sip it. I also sometimes put the powder in my mouth because I like the numbing feeling it causes. Sometimes I mix it with some almond butter and honey and eat it while watching a movie. That might be my favorite way. 😊
