Nothing to complain about!!
I tried several kinds of walkers and was beginning to think I would have to get along walking with just my cane, but then I found this roller, and it is perfect! Light, beautiful, classy. I cannot find one thing to complain about, and even if the price is a bit steep, I would pay even more for this roller if need be. It's like the Rolls Royce of walking aids! Glides beautifully on any surface. The adjustable handles work perfectly. Tires are smooth, brakes work great. It even has a lift feature for maneuvering curbs. Shipping was quick, and it came out of the box already assembled. I am completely satisfied with this byACRE walker. And although the seat is a big snug, a quick lift of the handles allows for standing with ease. I truly love this roller, and I believe you will, also.

We are massively impressed!
My husband and I don't often write reviews (yet, we often read them before purchasing - go figure). But we feel compelled to take the time to do so regarding the ACRE Carbon Ultralight Rollator Walker. We are SO HAPPY with our decision to choose this model for it's ease of movement, sturdy and classy design, and light weight (which makes it SO easy to load it in and out of the car). It also seems to encourage one to walk more upright than our old walker, and it handles really well in the snow-covered sidewalks. It appears as though everything was well thought out regarding the design and function, including the box in which it is shipped! All we did was open the box, removed the walker, and expanded the handles. That was it. This walker is pretty expense compared to other walkers on the market, but we are so impressed with the quality we know we made the right decision. A couple things to consider: - We initially purchased the compact model based on the measurements of our old walker. It turned out that the space between the handles was too narrow for my husband to sit spaciously down on the seat. We exchanged it for the regular model with a wider frame (save the box!). That turned out to be a good move. - The seat isn't as deep as our old walker which made my husband a bit nervous when he first sat on it. But, it holds weight much greater then him, so he's getting used to it. I just ordered the back strap thinking it might make him feel more secure. Hope this review is helpful, Dick & Shirley from Michigan

Excellent but be aware of the stability of the patient
We have a friend who's in her 80s who swears by her carbon ultralight Rollator. When we saw her Rollator in March, my husband was improved enough with his Walking after a stroke to possibly manage with this one as well. I am 76 and I have to lift all of his devices into the car so when the device that is a little over 10 pounds comes along it's really even nicer for me. The item is lightweight with no wires or anything on the exterior like other Rollator walkers. I had to caution him about the way he takes turns when he walks with it, however, because it is very lightweight and not as steady as his four wheel based heavy Rollator. We were leaving the hospital one day after a checkup, and his brain decided to take a turn on one pathway instead of going straight into the parking lot. Often with a stroke, the brain thinks that it can do the same old activities as you did previously, but your body is not ready to respond. If I did not follow him every time we walk with my hand, holding his T-shirt or using a Gait belt, he would have fallen on the ground. Just be aware that this item is very streamlined looking and very attractive, but you must really know that the person who is using it has the judgment to go very slowly. As with Walking with a heavy Rollator, I always caution him to put 1 foot back and anchor his body before backing up with the walker. People very often want to walk as quickly as they did before, and turn around as quickly as they did before. This device is so light that it would not counterbalance the person to keep them from falling back on their head. While we really, really really love this and I enjoy the lightness for us to be able to travel, there are days that we do not use it because if it is very windy, or if he has a lot of dizziness, or I feel that he needs the stability of a different four-wheel base Rollator or a wheelchair I will switch to the safer option. Given the expense of the carbon ultralight Rollator, which is much more expensive than standard Rollator's, think very carefully and see if you can test out on someone else's carbon ultra light before you possibly subject the patient to working with something that may not stabilize them with quick movements. There are days when I am extremely glad to have the carbon ultralight, and there are days that I have to argue with my husband about his ability to use it. Thank goodness as a nurse I usually win, but do make sure that your person is pretty stable on a regular Rollator and able to understand safety instructions that you give them.

Lightweight, Sturdy Walker
I absolutely love that the byAcre walker only weighs 10 lbs & folds up very easily, fitting in the back seat of my car. The finish on the walker is very nice, and it appears to be well constructed. I like that the brake cords are hidden inside. In comparison I own a Nitro walker, which has a large, comfortable seat, back rest, a large front zippered storage bag and a drink holder all at no extra cost. It was only about a third of the cost of the byAcre; but it weighed 17 lbs, so with a bad back it just became too much to lift in and out of my trunk. I ordered the byAcre grocery bag with a pull string to close, which I won't use for groceries because it won't hold anything too heavy. (I think the cost for the bag is a lot at $70, but I needed something to put packages in when shopping.) The little bag that comes with the walker, is fine for a phone and a few necessities, but the loops on the top sides do not hold it tightly on the walker, so it keeps slipping off one side even with nothing in it. I am going to stitch the one loop to make it a little smaller so it will stay on. I wish byAcre sold a drink holder to clip onto the walker, like my Nitro. In FL heat, I always bring a can of water with me when walking, but have no place to put one now. I had ordered the back rest for the byAcre, again extra at $69, but I sent it back because it was made of hard rubber material (not flexible or comfortable). I actually ordered two of these byAcre walkers because they mentioned in several reviews, you might have to sit down on an angle to get into the seat because of it's size. The seat size on the regular one is 16", not even as wide as an airplane seat! Fine if you are 100 lbs, but anything over, and you need to order the wider track size. The regular one was returned and I kept the wider track one. The walker is a little bigger overall, but not by much, so no problem maneuvering through small spaces, just pull up on the seat and the walker collapses to get you through those smaller spaces. Overall, I like the walker, but especially it's weight. There is nothing lighter with a seat on the market. Their customer service was very responsive to questions and provided a video how to adjust brakes if I needed to do so. As I said, I like the walker, not the price, but I was lucky enough that I waited to purchase during PRIME days, so saved $100 on walker, so $577+ accessories, which brought it up to the regular price.

Good looking, very light helping hand!!
I’ve tried several different types of walkers and the Byacre product is the priciest but also the best for me. I’m independent so I walk and drive around by myself for the most part. It’s so much easier to lift into and out of my car, easier to maneuver on all surfaces but the best feature is the design lets you walk within the device, as a result my posture is 100% better. I would never use any other now that I have this. I’m not interested in using it as a seat for any length of time, so with that in mind., the seat area is rather narrow for me but ok for short term break. I have the one bag with a strap, as it can convert into a purse if that’s an interest for you.

Light as a feather
I’ve been looking for a device like this for a long time, most wheeled walkers have you bent over when walking due to how it’s made. Since I’ve been using this device I can stand straighter and that takes a lot of stress off my neck, shoulders, elbows and back. It’s so light and easy to fold. However, I do occasionally have trouble with the swivel wheels, sometimes they don’t maneuver correctly when making turns and the seat is made of a cloth like material that stains, I’ve tried washing it but it doesn’t come out. Also the bag that came with it is nice and great to store those take along items, just need to figure out a way to secure it in place so it’s not always falling off. Also, it would be great if the manufacturer would come up with a side attachment for beverages and maybe a tray/table that can attach between the handles ( removable) to allow users to get their items to their destination (ie: dinner plate to the table, dinner dish to the sink, etc). These attachments would make this wheeled walker the perfect one, I’m really glad I chose this one and happy with my purchase, I been using this type of device for the last 15 years and this is the best one yet and that’s due to having the ability to walk straighter as you don’t have to lean over/forward like the other ones, this one you can have it closer to the body and that stops you from having to stoop. I would and have recommended this to others, it’s on the higher price range but for me it was well worth the money in health gains.

VERY painful and inappropriate for people with neck pain. Sending it back.
Not an appropriate walker for people with neck pain, possibly one of the most painful devices I've ever tried to use. Ok, I need a rollator that I can easily lift in and out of my car and actually like the drive models, they're just too heavy. I'm small and normal weight/thin and also not elderly, injured doing sports and want to still be able to go walk--and I want to be able to do that independently without a family member, etc. But as with most disability issues, if you're bad off enough to need a rollator (and a smaller woman) you probably can't easily lift it in and out of your car. In comes this brilliant idea, a 10 lb model that's even stylish looking--but those handles. I was dubious when I saw they were designed by physical therapists to "encourage upright posture". Physical therapists never meet us where we are with our disabilities and are far too fond of trying to correct compensations that are sometimes necessary (they're why I'm disabled, actually). In the case of someone with hip and neck issues, I need a walker for the hips and I need handles that don't put too much strain on the neck. This one actually forces you to, if putting any weight at all through your hands, to push that weight up through your shoulders and neck without really allowing even distribution through the back/scapula. In other words, you're not distributing your weight through the backs of your arms and shoulder blades/upper back but directly up (see the angles on those handles) through your arms. And into your neck. This is fine if you have no neck issues, I guess, but disastrous if you do. And if the handles were JUST ANGLED NORMALLY like a Drive Rollator it would be barely an issue, but no. In short, it's a lot of additional load on the upper spine without the stability and turn radius of the Drive models. Mine was maybe just weird with the wheels, but it turned and pulled to one side like a bad shopping cart. I still need a Rollator I can load in and out of my car myself, so this is very disappointing, very disappointing. The British Racing Green is lovely, really like the look of the thing, but really most people just want lighter weight, good stability and turn radius and the ability to fold and maneuver the thing. No need to turn the handles around and pitch them at that angle inwards, no need to try and reinvent the wheel, just make.....something that works.

Great walker, however, some caveats
Edit: I had to rescind two stars for safety purposes. During neuro rehab, I often need to sit after exercises. This walker does not have the ability to lock while seated, unless you are manually pulling up on the brakes. Very dangerous and had it not been for my PT grabbing my gait belt, I would've fallen completely. Still good to use as a walker alone, very fluid movement, but that incident alone caused me to alter my review a bit. Original: Listen - this is pricey but there's a reason. It is fluid, lightweight, and extremely easy to move in and out of the car. There was little to no assembly required, and it's sturdy. I LOVE the blue color, and it was easy to adjust the height - the only frustrating part was that the loops on the bag they sent would never stay attached. The brakes sometimes don't brake quite hard enough, but it's been doable. Love it.

Fabulous!!!
Beautiful, lightweight and made a night and day difference in compliance with my mom who refused to use her old clunky, heavy one. She says this one makes her life easier instead of harder.
