how do your order the parchment color? it doesnt give you the option to change colors.

Under AP Products, the only colors I found were white and Almond.

do you need to use a rivet gun?

No you do not need a rivet gun. You just need a drill and a drill bit a touch undersize of the rivet, drill a hole and then a hammer. Very easy to use

will they work on pvc pipe?

If the pipe is large enough that the head would lie flat. We used it for holes that were in a flat PVC screen door.
