If like me this part of your hobby it a track that comes in handy But take care when a-line or fitting so it connects probably ( on a flat Surface and push Together ,so the fishplates Aline probably, there the 2 metal or shiny bit sticking out on both ends) But this really for all Hornby and peco track To ruff you go to brake it and damage the fishplates which will give you contact problem and uneven running aspects and derailments . But In conclusion It’s a piece of plastic It is what it is
