Straightforward Treatment for My Crape Myrtle Issues
I picked up the Fertilome Tree and Shrub Drench to use on my crape myrtles, which recently started showing the sticky honeydew runoff that usually points to a fungus or pest issue. I really want to get ahead of it before it spreads, so I am hoping this treatment will help protect the trees as they recover. The application was easy. The instructions were straightforward, and mixing and pouring the solution around the base of the trees took very little time. I treated all of my crape myrtles in one go without any problems. So far, everything looks good. I know this type of product takes a while to work its way through the system, so we will not know the full results for a few months. At this point, though, I am optimistic and appreciate how simple the process was. If you are dealing with similar issues and want something easy to apply, this drench is worth considering. I am hoping it gives my trees the boost they need, and I will be watching closely over the next season.

Worked great!
Worked great on my new little Crepe Myrtle. I was concerned it was too late in the season - I used the drench in May- but it worked great. Within a week I had new leaves and now it’s July and the tree is growing beautifully. The black gunk from the insects that was around the base/trunk and branches stopped, and the leaves grew back, and its flowering and looks very healthy. I also used it on some potted rose bushes and had same good results. I’ll be using this again for sure!

This product reinvigorated two potted shrubs that I thought were dying.
I used this on two topiaries which were in bad shape. They look so much healthier. I love that this only needs to be reapplied yearly. I will buy this again.

Easy to use and works
Used this for the first time this spring on trees and shrubs and seems to be doing its job. I also like the ease of use with a liquid application.

Pre-or post application
It does mention in the instructions That it could kill bees, application before Flowering are post. Great product of use properly and affordable compare to others. I have over 100 trees this is the only affordable way I can cover them .

Good preventative to Bark Scale
I keep buying this and it really should prevent the bark scale, which I have not had any problem with since I have been applying it for the last few years. It seems pricey, but I think it works. You must Apply it before there are any blooms starting or it will hurt bees. I put it on the base of my crêpe myrtle’s in late March

Great product
I didnt put this on until my ornamental cherry tree end of June. Next year I am going to put it on the end of April so it will get up into all the leaves before the japanese beetles start in the middle of july. But It did help some - they didnt eat the whole tree like in years past.

This stuff REALLY works!!!
Absolutely amazing! I’ve had a soft scale infestation on my hydrangeas for 2 years now and have tried absolutely everything to get rid of them. This has literally been the best purchase I’ve ever made, as 3-4 weeks in, my hydrangeas are incredibly almost 100% free of these awful pests! Will definitely be buying this again!
