I can't remember the last time our household bought an oven mitt. The time came as the ones we were using were wearing thin by the finger tips and the transfer of hot items from the oven to stovetop were becoming painful. To be honest, I was looking for an economical/utilitarian replacements to the ones we had (they were "fancier" ones from a fancy home store) and these were them. I found a like new warehouse deal for about 40 percent off new. They arrived new looking with no damage. The material feels like a heavier canvas type material which is more shiny than an all cotton mitt which would be softer. The thickness is good and heat resistance is also good. The design is fine, nice quilted pattern -- to me -- it doesn't look cheap at all. For someone looking for a basic oven mitt that is effective and looks aren't really that important this is a good value. As for longevity, hard to predict that, however, by the weight of the mitts and the apparent durable construction, it seems like it will last.

Great quality for the price. Does the job there created to do minimal heat comes threw the oven mit only a slight warmth can be felt on the hand when removing item from 450 degree oven.

Delivered without delay and works very well with oven heated glass, ceramic and metal baking dishes.

13" GREY OVEN MITTS. - Are actually about 11.5 inches long from cuff to tip, only 13" when measured diagnolly. Despite this generous description, they do fit quite well my my male average to large size hands. I like them. I purchased a pair of silicone mitts for their temperature resistance, but they are clumbsy and difficult to flex and hold tray and plates. These gloves however are treated fabric and work well with high temps *425 farenheit, and are much easier to bend, flex and actually pickup wire grills, plates, and hot baking pans. I've only had them a few weeks and so far they hold up well, only time will tell how well they wear. Still for the price they are a great kitchen tool, that makes baking and cooking much easier, great for use with iron skillets as well.

Nice and thick, very well made.

So far they are heat protective - I haven't used them yet, on chicken pan when I cook at 470 degrees - so we'll see! They are slip resistant and grip well. They are way too big for my hands. I have small hands, but I think even if I had meduim sized hands they would still be big and kind of floppy.

These work great and the price was right. Love the color and appearance!

Been searching for a pair of suitable gloves. This is it. So far so good, does as stated.

I was using an old pair of oven mitts that my mom had used for many years but just had to retire due to scorch marks and feeling the heat through them, so I bought these. They are perfect. I wanted them to not be cumbersome or awkward to use in terms of holding pots and being able to use your hands in them, but I also needed them to be thick enough to protect my hands from heat. These work perfectly. I have dexterity when they are on but they really make my hands feel safe and protected and they are nice and long so that my wrists are also protected. Highly recommend them.

These are made for a giant imo. I'm not the tiniest person ever and I find these are too big. The length is good but the material is stiff and unwieldy. I needed a pair of oven mitts stat because they were needed to use when removing the pan from my bread machine and I could get these overnight. I suppose I didn't read enough reviews. Not to be able to wash them in a washing machine seems ridiculous. I have put off baking bread today because I'm going to go out and look, touch and feel a pair in the stores near me. This pair will be donated. How I wish I had kept the box so they could be returned 🤦🏼‍♀️ They're sitting on my kitchen counter still folded in half, the way they came out of the box at 5am, just over 9 hours ago. They didn't flatten out at all, they're still stiff as a board. EDIT: I'm now used to these and can't imagine using another pair. What felt awkward at first is not an issue any longer. They're still stiff but not to the point you couldn't use them.
