I own several thermacell devices and the new E-Zone devices are the most effective and economical. They burn much cleaner with less odor and last much longer. I've been using the EZone Guard system for a little while now, mainly around my patio and outdoor seating area and I've been pretty impressed with how quickly it starts making a difference. After setting it up, I noticed a clear drop in mosquitoes within a short time, which made it much more comfortable to actually sit outside without constantly swatting bugs. Its also really simple to use no sprays or mess, just set it up and let it do its thing. What I like most is the convenience factor. The refill system is easy to manage, and it feels a lot more low effort compared to traditional repellents. Its especially useful for evenings outside or small gatherings where you don't want everyone dealing with bug spray.

I had a mosquito problem on my back porch and decided to try this out. After turning it on, within about 10 minutes I stopped seeing any mosquitoes at all, which was honestly impressive given my porch is around 15x30. I like that it makes a small sound when it starts up so you know it’s working, and the fact that it’s completely scent-free is a big plus compared to sprays. It has a built-in rechargeable battery, so you don’t need to keep it plugged in while using it, which makes it easy to move around and place wherever you need it. I did try the quick charger and it works well, just a bit bulky. My only minor complaint is that the USB-C port is on the front, which isn’t the most convenient spot, but overall it’s been very effective and simple to use.

We have been using the Thermacell Mosquito Repellent since last summer with amazing results. Previously, the backyard was almost uninhabitable due to the mosquito swarms that were particularly attracted to my red-headed wife, who would develop large welts from the bites. Now we can sit on the deck and enjoy the pool without swatting and pain. The 120-hour refills are a significant cost savings over the individual 40-hour packs and are a snap to change out. With no objectionable scent, the Thermacell fades into the background while it does its job. We’re very pleased with this combination and look forward to another enjoyable summer outdoors.

I live in Phoenix, AZ, and I am shocked by how quickly I get lit up by mosquitos upon exiting my home. It's not out of the ordinary for me to get 8 bites in 15 minutes before I run back inside. I spray repellant on myself and my kids, who also get eaten alive by the buggers, but there are times I just want to eat outside as a family and not smell like citronella. The Thermacell E-zone and refills actually allow me do that. I turn it on while I'm cooking dinner, and the mosquitos are long gone by the time I sit on my patio. I can carry the device with me throughout the yard, and it remains effective. The refills couldn't be easier to pop in, either. And they last a long time!

Excellent outside bug repellent. It has worked as stated on the box. Can be a little pricey for the refills, but it is worth it. Buying in bulk gives you a cheaper price.

What a price scam!! I've been buying the same 3 refill product for years. Because it works great! It went from $46.74 to $60.00! That's outrageous! It really ruffles my feathers when a company knows they have a good product but then prices it out of range for the average homeowner to use. Yes, the stuff works great. No, I won't be able to buy it again. Thanks a lot, money grabbers!

I live in SouthEast Texas, and this thing is amazing! I've purchased two so far, and even in conditions that would normally make you not go outside at all these things work. I'm talking about when mosquitos are so bad that even sticking your arm out of your door for 5 seconds results in 10 mosquitos landing on it... Turn this thing on, let it heat up, place it outside and wait a few minutes, then go outside and place it where you're going to be sitting for a while and let it sit some more before going back. I believe somewhere it says 20 minutes, but even in bad mosquito conditions I've been able to stop from being bit in 10 minutes. There are a couple of issues that prevent it from working as well as I'd like, but they are minimal. The maker needs to make a version with an outside plug and a remote control so you can place a couple of them around your outside area and while still inside hit the remote so that it can warm up and do its thing for the 20 minutes before you go into the thick of it. An app would be even better because then you could track the length of time left on your refill and know when to change it out. The other thing that makes it not work is being in the presence of certain cleaning agents and chemicals. Putting two of these around a car makes it so that you can work for hours without any problems, but the second you spray a bit of brake cleaner they are all over you. Also, apparently when you've just poured Drano it will nullify it enough for you to get bit until the smell goes away. That may mean that other things can nullify it so maybe we should try to make a list somewhere to help people out. Please share the idea of a remote/app if you agree, and if the manufacturer reads this, please make a permanently outside version with app so we can leave it plugged in and activate it before we go outside, but other than that it's awesome!

This misquotes repplent did absolutely nothing—mosquitoes were still everywhere. No noticeable effect at all. I regret buying it and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
