Q: Is this 12/24 volt or just 12volt?

This is the remote display for a Bluesolar MPPT controller. The battery voltage is a function of the Controller (charger) itself.

Q: Building a solar/ battery monitoring system for rv. should i have this and a bmv 702, or does this replace the 702 functionality?

The BMV-700 series will monitor all of the activity on your battery, the flow in and out, for both real-time and cumulative read-outs. It will not monitor the solar controller except to acknowledge that current is flowing into the battery. The MPPT control will only see the solar activity, and not the loads or other charging activity to the battery. It will show in detail the real-time wattage/amperage being harvested, the PV and battery voltage, and historical information on previous days' energy production. It can also be used to configure the MPPT controller.

Sorry, not sure about the compatibility with that charge controller. You may want to call Victron Energy directly and ask them.

This is a remote display for a MPPT controller. We changed the description to better reflect that. "MPPT Control" is the model name.
