Front Chrome Trim for 2008 2500HD Truck fit perfectly & includes new metal clips. Great price too!
I ordered this to replace a broken trim piece on my 2008 2500HD Truck. It fit perfectly and appears to be the exact same design and quality as OEM (at a fraction of the price for OEM part). The fact it comes with new metal retaining clips is a huge plus - the old clips are always rusted, and are easily damaged during removal from the hood. I installed the new piece by attaching the new clips to the plastic tabs on rear of new trim piece, centering each. Then align the new trim to hood sheet metal slots, assuring that the plastic tabs and clips were aligned to metal slots on left and right particularly - then pressed the trim on (beginning with center tab first, then the two ends). It snapped into place easily, and was overall a 2 minute job (mostly cleaning front of hood, before installing the new trim). Price was great, and Amazon delivered within 24 hours so a perfect experience!
