Its great for coffee and tea, seals excellent. If you spill coffee and destroy coffee cups as often as I do, you know that having a good lid for your hot liquids is essential. I love my 50/50 bottle and just ordered an 18 oz for coffee, and I am excited to finnaly have a coffee cup that I love. It looks like a high quality plastic, like the one on the original cap that Ive never had problems with. I was reluctant about the price, but knowing the quality of 50/50 products, i went with it anyways. My husband saw it and wanted one as well. Sure I could have gone with some knock off products at cheaper price but again,this is exactly what I expected. Slick design too!

I had a small tumbler that I absolutely loved, but there was a crack up inside the lid. It was cracked for four or five years. i tried using different kinds of gaskets to seal it.It shouldn't have taken me that long to replace the lid, but I'm so glad I did. It works, just get it if you need a new one.

I've been using Fifty/Fifty bottles for a while and they're amazing bottle. If you're patient you'll see them on sale far below retail. These are definitely the best vacuum insulated bottles for the price, but their flip top lid doesn't really work.I bought three of these, one for each bottle I have, and they all experienced the same problem. It looks like quite a few other have the same problems.This lid has a few problems. The biggest problem with this lead is that it leaks. If this lid is on a full bottle that's upside down or on its side you'll notice a pretty big leak. I wouldn't trust using this unless I knew it would be upright on my desk all day. This is no good in bag not only because if the leak but because the flip top doesn't stay closed. It's very easy to pop these open which is a problem if you ever plan on sticking this in a bag. The last issue is the hole for the water. Liguids can't move through this lid very quickly which is a huge disappointment if you're thirsty.I recommend the straw lid over this flip top.

Fits the brand bottle perfectly, twists on and off securely. Lid snaps (it's a little tough to open it initially, but you get used to it) shut tight, snaps open securely. Mouth opening is a little small if you expect to gulp down water or juice, but it's a good size if drinking hot liquids. Great replacement for my other twist-off lid!

I was gifted a Fifty/Fifty 16 oz. bottle with a wide mouth screw-on lid. I loved the heavy-duty quality of the bottle but was not a fan of the screw-on lid. This flip-top lid is great. The quality is excellent and it looks great. I like that the logo matches my bottle. The only thing I'd suggest to improve it is to have a loop of some kind so you could easily hold/carry it with a finger. My wife liked mine and had me order one for her bottle.

Works well but not much liquid flow. It should be included with the purchase of the bottle as an option. I feel the company wants more money so they charge for any little thing they can. Liquid does not spill but the flow is not the best. That's why I gave it a 4.
