Brilliant, but a bit big
I would say this is the best case for the Apple airpods max (including the original one). You don't need the original case to switch the headphones off/on. The only issue I see here is the size, its big. you can say vertically you are adding 10cm and some width horizontally. I understand they had to do it for the padding cushion, but that makes it less compact

It's a very protective case. Nice feature is able to store headphones with band lengthened and not having put it back smaller all the time. Also stores Apple Case inside to. Storage inside for Lightning Cable. Overall a great case and value.

Very Good Case
I bought two of these cases for my and my partner's AirPods Max. They work very well at keeping the AirPods protected - much better than the Apple case for sure.
