Review after 6 months of usage for Dr Trust Smart Scale, Model 509. I was looking to buy MI smart scale. But as was continuously out of stock, went for this one. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend the product. There are many Dr Trust models. So pls be sure which model you select. Have attached some snaps. Paid around 1700 without any offer. Pros: 1) We can store historic data of weight, BMI, Fat, etc and lot of other parameters. If you want to track these parameters over a period of time it becomes very easy. 2) Surprised that app was easy to install and use (Have attached some screenshots) 3) Price is reasonable for smart scale (though not very cheap) 4) No issues seen since last 6 months. Accuracy is good. 5) Lightweight 6) Could charge with USB type charger. Backup time is also very good(Few months). There is no way to change the lithium battery. So the life of the scale would be the life of the battery. This would perhaps be the only disadvantage of this scale.(Compared to AAA replaceable battery based scales) Cons: 1) Could not find anything greatly negative Other tips and Usage: 1) We need to keep our legs completely on all electrodes. Specially on the back electrodes. If not the results might vary. This is also given in usage manual 2) Our weight varies by a kg depending on time of checking. For consistency check at same time (Example: After dinner)

I was very much satisfied and happy with the purchase. This scale provides all relevant details that you should know about you body for active weight management. Few months back, after working flawlessly for almost a year, the device started turning off intermittently. This may be due to faulty batter. I registered a complaint with Dr. Trust team, and they honoured the warranty and replaced the device. I’m so happy with the brand that I have their all other medical devices from them. They nicely integrate with iPhone health app and automatically syncs the data providing hassle free , centralised monitoring of your health through iPhone health stats app. Highly recommended brand as the name suggest you can Trust them. 😜

The product got damaged within just one year of normal use, which reflects very poor build quality. Additionally, the body fat and body composition measurements appear to be gimmicky and are not accurate or reliable. Overall, I am disappointed with the product and would not recommend it.

The product looks good, is very responsive and gives accurate readings. Further, the phone-device connection works flawlessly. It is almost a great product… However, as a body composition monitor, the product relies on an app to give additional readings and the app that isn’t good. Salient issues: 1. Many fields are inaccurate and this is a known issue per play-store reviews. For instance, my BMI should be 23 (per calculations) but i am shown as overweight with a BMI close to 27. Similarly, the fat measurement is a fraud. Immediately after a meal, one’s fat% increases even before the food would have been digested - which suggests that the fat measurement is a formula, not a measurement. 2. The interface is bad - the charts have a big circle and don’t show numbers. The y-axis’ scale is weird - for instance it spreads over 40 kg for weight. So unless one loses 5-10 kg, one won’t see a difference on the scale. So much for drawing inspiration from numbers. It’s considerably worse than the okok app that some cheap Chinese scales have. 3. The registration was hard and while there aren’t many advertisements, they keep pushing their health plans. Epilogue- Dr Trust has an opportunity to enhance the app. Currently, it’s buggy and seems like it was designed by an intern.
