This food is a great quality and really helped my dog who was having allergy problems. His eyes were red, ears getting infected, yeast on paws, scooting butt, and skin bumps. I knew it had to be allergies and switched to this food. What a lifesaver!! In about a month it had all gone away and he is so much better!

My dog does great on this food. Have been using this for 3 yrs. I adopted my little chorkie from the dog pound. They gave me a large bag of this dog food and he has been on it every since.

this and taste of the wild seem to be the only two brands that don’t make my dog itch. she likes the little bits and this is more affordable

Food is great. Delivery not so much.

My golden boy has been on this food for a few years and loves it. He will be 12 years old in two weeks with no health problems. This food also keeps his stools firm and no upset tummy unlike another food he was on years ago.

My dog loves it but just found out dogs need some grain in their food .

Switched to this recipe for my Coonhound because of a recommendation from my vet after trying everything to reduce/prevent his seizures. Our 7 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound started having seizures around 3 years ago out of nowhere. Scared the $%^& out of us. First vet said some breeds/dogs are more prone than others and it will just be something to manage the rest of his life. He was having one seizure every other month or so for 1.5-2 years. The effects and duration of the seizures were increasing to the point where we were considering an expensive, daily medication that he would take indefinitely. We had dreaded medicating him when the seizures started because of what we had read on potential side effects of the available medications. We had always fed him the normal, middle-of-the-road dog food not knowing what the ingredients were or that these could be causing allergic reactions until our new vet made this observation and recommended a chicken-free dog food. Exhausted, we said we'd try anything and honestly, I was skeptical that dog food would or could make a difference. Almost a year since switching and *knock on wood* NO SEIZURES!! Not saying that this is a cure or that it'll work the same on every dog or situation, but it's truly been a miracle for us. It also doesn't hurt that his coat looks better than ever! A very good dog food, albeit pricey. My dog was using a salmon and pea formula of another brand. He scratched a lot. So he's now on Apoquel. Whether the food or the Apoquel has helped his coat, I don't know, but he definitely likes this food very much. This one is salmon and potato. He's an 11 lb Jack Russell Chihuahua mix.
