I couldn't function without it.
I have a really bad elbow. Broke twice, dislocated multiple times, and now have a surgeon created Gunstock elbow. Lifting anything, outside of the curling motion, is excruciating if even possible. With this brace I am able to do 75% more that without it and fairly pain free. Its a game changer at the gym and work (maintenance).

Easy to use, sturdy, versatile
This is not high tech and I'm sure others might have more particular needs but I've been using this not insomuch for tennis/golf elbow or even carpal tunnel syndrome from over computer use (but all of those are a bit true), but I've had to use a lot of upper body strength the past 6 months while recovering from ankle surgery. In tandem with crutches and canes, this easy to apply "arm bracelet" has provided me with some much needed relief. It's sturdy and shows no sign or wearing out any time soon. Recently discovered one of my online bridge partners was wearing one, too, for CT relief.

Item Used
I'm keeping it bc of the pain my arm is in and I can already feel that the pressure and design is helping even after only wearing it minutes. I'd give it 5 stars for that alone, but the packaging was clearly opened already, closed with blue painters tape that was cut so it wasn't holding anything closed and there was hair sticking in the tape. Also, its kind of self explanatory I guess bc you want the pad where the pain it, but there are zero instructions as far as placement suggestions. I'm not sure if there are supposed to be instructions or not, but item was clearly returned and I was the next one in line for it.

Like almost all Bauerfeind products, this one is another great one.
I purchased this one, the SOZO model (with BOA) and the McDavid strap (velcro). Although a little more expensive, I found this Bauerfeind model to be the very best. The BOA adjustment is the greatest. You can micro adjust the tightness to exactly where you need it. The Bauerfeind model is made of softer, slightly more flexible (slightly more give) than the SOZO model. The SOZO model and material is crazy stiff. The Bauerfeind has a little more flex and give when you bend or flex at your elbow. I also love McDavid sports medicine products too so I also purchased the McDavid velcro model. I like that one too. The McDavid model is velcro (so it will not lock into place) and is made of more spandex, stretchy material. It will have more flex and give. When lifting weights, I prefer the McDavid because I am obviously flexing and bending at my elbow joint during alot of my lifting movements. I need some pain relief, but I need a little more flex too. The advantage of the McDavid is that I can quickly undo the velcro strap between sets to give my forearms a quick break. The Bauerfeind model would be my "go to" model for people on a more day-to-day basis. But when lifting, I personally found the Bauerfeind model to be a little too rigid and too stiff (when lifting).....and releasing and re-tightening the BOA wire mechanism just is not as quick and convenient to do while resting in between sets. I developed my tennis/golf elbow from playing much more golf (and practicing) over the last several years (in my left, leading arm). While I use the McDavid elbow strap when lifting, I use the Bauerfeind model when actually playing golf because the BOA wire tightening mechanism actually provides better comfort (and long-term comfort once you have the BOA adjusted properly and "locked in"). The BOA mechanism will not (or should not) loosen once adjusted. I swear I wished they added this BOA technology in almost everything in life.

Better than the Velcro ones
I tried this for my tendon issues from playing Picklenall. This tightening contraption is better than the Velcro ones. Gives good pressure point on it. The reason I took of two stars is because… although it’s better than the other tennis elbow bands, it still didn’t take away the pain. I found another product that finally worked for my arm issues and that’s the Incrediwear sleeve.

I really like it, great support
I have about 4 or so braces at home, and this one is by far the best. Great support all around, and the best part is the BOA macro adjust that allows you fine tune it. Also doesn't loosen up under pressure as the Velcro type. It's pricey but it's worth it. Someone mentioned durability on BOA , and I would worry about that, since I have 4 MTB shoes with BOA and they withstand way more pressure without issues. Also they have life time warranty of anything is to happen.

Worth Every Penny
First off, yes this is expensive! I took the plunge because I was sick and tired of continuing to buy the cheaper elbow braces-all shapes and sizes. The pain tennis/golf (yes-both) was not improving at all. The first time I put this brace on I was stunned at the complete support all the way round my elbow! You would think the size would be bothersome but it didn’t bother me because the pain decreased so much. Maybe, if I hadn’t waited so long to buy this brace and the pain wasn’t as bad as it had gotten, I would have found it annoying but it didn’t and hasn’t bothered me at all. I love that I can adjust the tension without fiddling with the Velcro. I wish I had found this a while ago. I have spent an awful lot of money on the cheaper, Velcro type which would have more than paid for this brace if I had just jumped in with both feet and gone with quality not quantity.

Terrible
The BOA system is awful for fitting on this band. It’s insufficient for turning enough to apply the proper pressure for persons with smaller forearms. Returned.
