Tastes just like from the cafe.
Best for black coffee but can be brewed for cappuccino too. Has a good note of roast and has a sweet after taste and is value for money when compared to specialty brands.

Says a blend of arabica and robusta, but tastes like 100% robusta.
I don’t know how much arabica is used, but it tastes like a 100% robusta, not arabica. I tried coarse grind, fine grind, tried using aero press, v60, and yet I can’t extract its notes at all. Its a good coffee for fuel I suppose, but no flavours or notes whatsoever. The beans are not that good as well and breaks. Overall, not for me.

Indian plantations of coorg and chikmagalur
Overall 4/5: Great quality product Freshness: 5/5 fresh & intense aroma Bitterness: 3.5/5 found more bitter Acidity: 3/5 found it to be more acidic Roast: 5/5 very well evenly roasted This coffee is something you shouldn’t buy. Unless you are serious about it Grind levels and brewing methods Medium grind (around 5–8) Pour-over/drip coffee: A medium grind is comparable in texture to sand. This allows water to flow through at an optimal pace, resulting in a balanced extraction. Aeropress (with a longer brew time): A medium grind can be used with the Aeropress for a full-bodied cup, especially with an inverted brewing method. the quality is international. If you enjoy real coffee, if you can appreciate a coffee from a coffee shop like Barista, Starbucks etc., then this coffee is for you Fine blend of arabica and robusta beans handpicked from the Indian plantations of coorg and chikmagalur with an exotic aroma of chocolate and spices

Received a bad batch this time.
I have been a fan of the gusto crema for more than a year now. This has always been on my shelf as my primary coffee for it amazing taste and aroma. But the latest batch that was sent, I think, has been roasted a bit too dark. It is giving a burning smell after extraction, I also tried lower extraction temperatures and the extract is coming just bitter.

Good Product but not 100% Arabica
It's a fine blend of Arabica & Robusta from Coorg & Chikmagalur plantations, medium-dark roast with notes of chocolate & spices. Intensity is around 7/10 in Lavazza's scale - not a super-dark bitter bomb. Taste & Aroma: On opening, you get a very fresh, intense aroma - really well roasted and even. On brewing, you get rich crema and good aroma with no harsh burnt smell. Flavor is rich and balanced - chocolatey with spicy notes, sweet aftertaste. It's smooth for a Robusta blend. If you drink it black, you'll find it balanced, if you make milk-based cappuccino / latte, the chocolate-spice holds up well and doesn't get lost. What I liked: 1. Crema is excellent - thick, persistent, especially with espresso machine / Moka pot. 2. Versatile - Works for black coffee, but also great for cappuccino. Value for money vs specialty brands 3. Freshness - Beans come in sustainable packaging that keeps them fresh for 12 months. Grind right before brew, aroma is 5/5. 4. Roast quality - Very evenly roasted, not oily, not burnt. What to know before buying: 1. Slight bitterness & acidity - If you are expecting a 100% Arabica smooth low-acid coffee, this is NOT it. The Robusta gives it a kick. 2. Not for light-roast lovers - This is medium-dark, full-bodied. If you like light, fruity, floral third-wave coffee, this will feel too traditional/roasty. 3. You NEED a grinder - These are whole beans. Don't buy if you don't have a grinder. For pour-over/drip use medium grind (sand-like texture).

Strong, creamy and well-balanced without being overly bitter.
Excellent coffee. Strong, creamy and well-balanced without being overly bitter. The flavour feels rich and luxurious, and comes quite close to the European café-style coffee. The trick is brew properly - to use the espresso machine properly - fine grinding, the right tamping pressure, good quality water, and correct dilution. When done right, it produces a thick and a full-bodied cup.
