The pen is cheap, garbage-tier construction. It is made of thin, soft plastic that can flex enough that it barely holds together at the threads while writing. It is not possible to fully tighten the body onto the grip. It just skips when it reaches the end - maintaining a perpetually loose fit. The refills are not a standard size - so you won't be fitting them into any of your nicer, more usable pens. The ink also does not flow well. It did not write right away - it took a page of blank scribbling for the ink to finally come out, followed by some purging onto blotting paper to establish good flow. Once you get it flowing, it works okay if you write slowly. The letters fade away about 50% within a few seconds, and the rest of the way over the course of several minutes, with the wet spots at the end of the letter strokes tasking a few hours. A single fish-shaped rubber grip is included. It forces your fingers into the proper position and is only usable if you're right-handed. You might even be inclined to use it because the pen's own plastic grip is incredibly uncomfortable. It is also impractical to use with this pen. It goes on very tight - which makes it impossible to get on far enough or to remove it without the poorly-made pen coming apart. This is a capped pen - so you'll have to do this every time to want to cap/uncap it. It might fit better on a pencil or thinner pen. I think I'll be returning it. It is not worth the $5. You're only buying frustration and suffering.

I got this fory kid to practice writing his letters and words for a Pre-K kiddo. Loved that the ink disappears and you're not wasting the activity book.

This pen is magic. It writes just like a normal pen but leave it long enough and it disappears. Our house has enjoyed using them in school workbooks that we want to do over and over again. We do the work like normal, let it sit for a while and it's clean and ready to do again.

I love this ink and to go with the handwriting workbooks, however, the pen body is not sturdy and won’t last as long as the ink refills. The body strips and the rubber dolphin to help with pen grip is also medium to low quality. I wish the pen was retractile so you didn’t need to remove the dolphin each time.

Ink is nice and disapears slowly. You only get one pen to put the ink in and it's very cheap. The ink sticks have an odd design so tgey won't go in other pens easily
