What size zerk fitting is this for? I have fittings on a hose cart that the gun will not lock onto.

The coupler on the Mini Grease Gun is a standard coupler and it should lock onto a standard grease fitting (Zerk fitting). The round nipple like end of grease fittings are more or less the same. Variations in Zerk fittings are mostly in the size of the threads and the angle that the end is pointing. However, if you are having problems with your coupler, please email Slippery Pete Stuff through Amazon, and be sure to include your order ID, and I will send you some replacement couplers. Thanks.

has anyone figured out how to tighten the flexible hose.its almost impossible because of the bar on top and the spring on the bottom could barely tigh

LOL, no I haven't. I just use it without the the flexible hose. There is probably a simple answer and I'll be watching to see if anyone else can answer it. Fortunately my SCAG's fittings are such that I don't really need it.

What brand of cartridge is easy to install and remove?

It so easy to load I use what ever the have at the parts store or what ever u find on amazon

Is the bottom end cap threaded on like on a full size grease gun?

Yes, the bottom end cap can be threaded on and off, just like our full size grease gun.
