Playmobil 5775 Pirate's Attack Set 291 pieces

This was a gift for my six year old grandson. He loves pirates and all the accessories that he can muster up. He has a wonderful sense of imagination and plays with the pirates for hours. Battles are part of the play so a good ship was needed.

The sails were not like the picture online. At first our son was disappointed but decided to keep the ship regardless. Please ensure the picture is representative of what is actually sold. Thank you.

Perfect - Nephew loved it (5years old)

Wife and I picked up one of these second hand and initially assumed it wasn't a "floating" pirate ship as it had wheels on the bottom. Closer inspection revealed that not only was it made to float but that it also properly ballasted to prevent any kind of rollover. We also have the playmobil sub and I just have to say I just can't believe the quality and thought that goes into these toys. While with the sub and boat there are alot of smaller pieces that are easily removed and lost, I've come to appreciate this fact as our son enjoys dissassembling things whether they're supposed to come apart or not. We have however learned to reserve some of the smaller parts when we give them to him to minimize hunting around for lost bits. When he gets just a little older (he's 3 1/2 now) we'll start adding some of those bits back in. With the quality of these toys I really can see him playing with them for many, many years.
