I needed something soft and warm to cover a splint that extended an inch and a half beyond my toes and was squared. This was perfect!The opening stretches enough to fit around the foot without cutting off circulation and was long enough to cover mid instep. My foot is small, size 6, but the splints are pretty standard, so should fit anyone with a larger foot.The picture shows the actual width of the splint at the end and it’s a perfect fit. Highly recommended! Well made and a vet-owner company. Can’t go wrong.I would say this would be for indoor use as there is no grip material and it’s more of a fleece material. I am non weight bearing so of little consequence for me. All I care about is my toes are finally WARM!

This was the perfect solution for a guy who had 8 weeks in a cast with a wide open toe. Not only was it easy on and off, but it was a lifesaver in keeping my cast toes warm and clean, it also saved me from tearing up the sheets with a rough fiberglass toe AND made it much easier to roll over without getting caught on the sheets! Great product. I have a broken toe and am wearing a big boot while I recover.I bought and used this for a trip to Utah. It was warm enough to keep my toes warm in 30/40 degree weather.For me, I put on my sock, then this cover then my boot. I didn't want the cover getting dirty or go me to slip while wearing so I wore more like a sock then like a cap for my boot. Was very comfortable and warm! I faced the drawstring up to maximize comfort at the tightening piece.Only thing I don't have experience in is how the product holds up in "wet" conditions such as snow or rain. Seems like it could be problematic.Ovrrall, though, exactly what I wanted and needed and would highly recommend!

When I knew I'd be wearing a surgical boot for a few weeks in the winter I started looking for something that would be easy to put on and take off and would help keep the dressing clean and my toes warm. This looked perfect and I loved the color. I can't speak to putting this on over a cast but it was perfect for putting on over my dressing before I put on my surgical boot. Basically it was exactly what I needed. I've gone back every couple of days hoping that it'll come back in stock in other colors. Pink is fine and fun but I'd have loved to have bought it one of the other more neutral colors.

This is so practical and comfortable. I had a cast for a month on my left ankle/foot. My toes were exposed and often ended up very cold. I live in Phoenix, which suffers from hot temperatures outside and very cold air conditioning inside. I would put this on every day at work. My toes would get nice and toasty. This was a very nice invention! It is very simple to put on -- you put it on your toes and tighten the cord. I almost wish that I still had my cast so that I could keep wearing it (almost -- but still very thankful to have graduated to a walking boot). I am going to keep it just in case!!

Exposed toes are either (1) exposed to the elements and can get cold (2) open and can get anything inside (3) unwashed, and most of all (4) in desperate need of a pedicure.This cover has got you “covered” for all those scenarios! Now my exposed toes are protected and others are protected from my exposed toes!!

I hate being cold and can't sleep when feet are cold. Since I need to keep my foot elevated this is perfect for keeping my tooties nice and warm. Absolutely stays on without any problem. No strap needed. The fabric naturally helps it stay on.Made in the USA by a Veteran is why I bought this item. Getting it in pink was an added bonus, it goes well well with my green cast while keeping me warm.
