Updated: After posting my original review of 3 stars I was contacted by the seller who reimbursed me the cost of the comb and shipped me another comb. I just received the second comb over the weekend and while there are some small "splinters" this one does not seem to have as many as the first one did.I have increased my review by one star to account for the exceptional customer service I received.Original Review:So far it's working well. There's a couple of "splinters" on some of the teeth though where beard hair can get caught.

Bought this for my boyfriend so I could get his tangled mess under control and it s a great bonding tool. Only complaint I have is that the teeth are a little large and I don't feel like it straightens out the brambles of my boyfriends beard effectively.

Great comb perfect for girls after a shower. I used to use a plastic comb witch would rip and shred my hair but this one is perfect. My hair never gets ripped and it has two different parts of the comb. I use the more narrow tooth of the comb to part my hair and the wide tooth part to actually comb my hair. It's awesome for everyday use but also great for travel because it is so light and durable.

I love the wide teeth. The finish is not smooth though. I've had a couple of teeth splinter lightly with initial use. Comb will need to be inspected, possibly sanded, and oiled well for use if purchased.

A few of the tines on the wide-tooth side have started to splinter after only a few uses. I sanded them a little, which seems to have solved the problem, but perhaps only temporarily.

Ok product. Teeth chip out. You don't feel combing as the smaller teeth don't grip your hair as it should. Wider teeth is ok. Won't buy again.

Was very happy at first; however, it broke at the past you hold very easily. Still using it broken. :/
