Easy install after following a video online. Looks wonderful and touch works once again. I wish I would've bought it sooner honestly.

Lenovo Ideapad Flex5 14ARE-05 I can't review the quality of the picture or touchscreen as it didn't solve a larger hardware problem that was making the laptop unable to post. So I'm providing information for what I can. The screen came packaged very well - sticky plastic film to protect the glass, thin foam within a thick Styrofoam block. My project was replacing both the screen and the lid/cover as the original hinges are *extremely* tight and stressed the joints to the point that the plastic for both hinges had basically disintegrated. The screen matched up to the screw holes, camera slot, and fit the new lid/back well. Cables attached without issue. WARNING: Extremely fragile. Treat this thing like it's rice paper. The screen has the same support as the factory screen (two sticky strips and three screws), and I think the screw supports in the bottom left and bottom right may be slightly thinner. As a result, they do not withstand much torque. The hinges on this model of laptop are extremely stiff, to the point that they eventually break these plastic pieces. If you remove the hinges, you can take off their little covers and adjust some tensioner screws and lubricate them to loosen them up. I did this, reassembled, and attached the screen screws (I did not attach the adhesive strips as I was still testing the screen). Unfortunately for me, while testing the new hinge movement, I lifted the case lid, but not the screen with it. Just lifting the lid caused enough bend on the plastic screw supports to put a nice 5" crack in the new screen. Conclusion: It fits, it connects, but I can't comment on how the screen display looks or operates because it also breaks extremely easily. Lubricate/loosen your hinges before using this screen.

My daughter broke the screen on her laptop that she uses all the time for school. She limped along with it for a week when I asked what happened. She said she closed the lid but didn't notice that one of her earrings fell out and got caught between the screen. I looked online and found a video that showed how to take it apart and it was pretty straight forward. This replacement screen is very good and looks like the original. Well worth the effort.

The picture is good. The touch screen lags terribly. It’s almost unusable for that purpose. No stylus connectivity. I really wish I had researched this purchase more thoroughly.

After installing touch screen didnt work. After deleting the driver (hid compliant touch screen under human interface device) from device manager and restarting computer so it would download again worked perfectly

I followed the installation video very carefully, and the way they slide the screen into place is wrong. The frame of the LCD will hit the webcam module and, in my case, break the shoulder. Customer service was no help. They did not understand that the product was not effective even when told the instructions were the issue, and I requested credit to cover a new webcam module. A huge headache could have been avoided by a warning or better instructions. The screen also has visibly worse brightness, glare, and clarity than the original. My suggestion is to dish out the extra money for the proper screen. This is your warning.
