Old school Airfix thrills
This 1/32 scale is a bit annoying, when most model kits are 1/35, but I knew that when I purchased, so more of a niggle than a complaint. Having said that, I remembered the figures from my childhood and they were great fun to paint up. I have a couple more of the 1/32 sets too, and they all are so evocative of my 1970s childhood. Some of the poses are so lodged in my memory. Just a shame they can't be incorporated into a 1/35 diorama. The plastic is perhaps a little brittle, and ends of guns are inclined to be bent or missing, hence the dropped star. Still great fun though.

Fairly detailed
Fairly detailed, but was some moulding issues. One of the soldiers had a dodgy eye so painted a bandage. Look good once painted and quit cheap to buy. Good for people who want larger figures to paint than miniatures.

Not Bad
Not as bad as some reviews say! I bought these along with the Airfix WWII British paratroopers because they come in a dark tan or brownish color, unlike the vintage originals that came in the same olive drab green as the American soldiers Airfix made. I like for my toy soldier factions to be different colors, so if youโre like me, these are great! My set came with the correct number of figures and correct number of poses, with none being broken out of the box! Some weapon tips may be slightly bent, but a careful bend will fix them instantly! These are hard plastic, so not ideal for rough play, but a pretty solid option for collectors!
