Ideal for precision cheeks: transition blush & controlled contour blending & more!
For perspective, this fits the brush gap between your largest eyeshadow brush and your smallest blush brush. The size & density makes it an ideal transition cheek, light contour tool. The flattened shape gives the ability to get precision where desired. It's got a surprisingly very wide range of uses; I can blend out cheek contour while staying true to where its applied, apply W blush (or bronze) across the top of the cheeks/nose, apply a matte highlight exactly where I want it, a light contour on the sides of nose or underlip, set undereyes w powder, or sweep a wash of color on the lids. It also excels for sculpted cheeks; transition blush techniques. It can take on those gaps and works for creams and powders. Good for small faces or for those who want that kind of cheek precision. It fits naturally into a "sculpted natural" routine,.. requiring little more than a foundation applicator & a few eyeshadow brushes to go with it. It feels like a loose brush texture (like a blush brush) but denser. Its relatively firm (bounces back in place) but still quite soft and fluffy. Being an asian with a relatively small face, small eyes and a preference for natural looks... this works well for that.

High Quality Multi-Use Brush
This brush is amazing quality and feels very high-end. The bristles are strong and don’t shed at all. I’ve been using it for months and it still looks perfect. It’s very comfortable on my sensitive skin and works great for concealer, blush, and foundation. The size is also perfect for daily makeup use.

Perfect For Everything!
I ordered the powder brush which I like a lot but decided to pass on the blush brush. After using the powder brush I decided to try the blush brush and I am so glad I did! I thought it would be too small for blush and instead used it to set my under-eyes. No matter which brush or sponge I'd use, I could never get that area to look right. This brush blends to perfection. The other day I couldn't find my blush brush I normally use. I reached for this brush and haven't looked for the other brush since. This brush delivered that "glow from within" look as opposed to color on my face. Needless to say, I ordered another. I hope this line adds more face brushes to the collection.

This is a Special Brush
If you love K-beauty or have a small face, you might want to seriously consider getting this brush. K-beauty is known for a natural, airbrushed, no makeup look. And this is a great tool for the job. Contrary to what you may believe, there is no one size fits all when it comes to brushes. You need to think about your face shape and the overall look you are trying to accomplish. JSM designed this brush for a specific technique in mind. You don't use the tip. You use the flat sides of the brush. The brush is small for precision. If you want a lot of pigment for a high contour look, I don't know if this is the best brush. Unfortunately, you can only use this for powder. Do I own better quality brushes? Yes. But they cost 2-3 times more and are handmade. Nevertheless, this is still a really good brush and I still recommend it if you like a very natural look. This one seems unique to me. I could be wrong. Most of the Western style blush brushes come in 2 or three fairly similar shapes. Some makeup lines even have them made at the same factory. If you want to know more about how to use the brush, you can check out a demonstration by JSM herself on YouTube. There's one video I really like from Haley Kim called OG Korean Makeup Artist Does my Makeup. Around the 2:00 mark.

Why have I been sleeping on smaller blush brushes my whole life
36YO Asian lady here with 22/23 skin who has been using big honkers of blush brushes most of her life. “And apply generously on the apples of your cheeks for that all over flush” has been the Western makeup ethos I’ve followed most of my life, and I’ve wondered why I looked so ruddy and unsophisticated, or else tan “LA beach babe” (the other Western blush standard being - horizontal lines straight across your cheekbones, generously). So after about, I dunno, 20 years of using makeup, I decided I was ready to go from Blush Application 101 to Advanced Blush Theory 207 and beyond. OK, hello, it’s 2023 and like every other Asian American I now watch YouTube instead of following, I dunno, whatever is in Cosmo or Vogue or Allure or MC or whatever, and a few K-idol stylists were using smaller brushes to apply blush and get very subtle, sophisticated, and targeted looks. @dearpeachie from YouTube has this whole amazing 15minute PhD thesis on blush theory which, just watch it, OK? That video convinced me of the merits of a smaller blush brush and, paired with a new blush palette (I went with one from Dasique since it looked cute - the mounds of powder looking like what I want my cheeks to look like, very aspirational/effective product design), my blush game has started to change. Goodbye, all-day Asian flush! Hello, versatile looks ranging from classic to ingenue to magical mystery douyin girl! Now I am the one who gets to determine if I want to look like a steamy Huntington Beach LA cougar or else take 10 years off my face with some adorable peach cheeks plopped straight in the center of my face or else seem rather ageless and vulnerable with the blush edging right up under my eyeballs. The size and feathering of this JSM blush lets me retain a lot of control somehow. I guess that’s great blush brush engineering. BTW, this brush also fits nicely in that silicon magnetic Amazon brush travel case that’s currently trending #1 — the handle’s not weirdly long which sometimes happens with celebrity/influencer/stylist-released makeup products. It’s just an average sized handle and travels nicely. Coming with me on all my travel as well.

Perfect
This brush is such a unique shape. Perfect for using with color correctors on those dark under eyes near your nose! I also like that it has two sides so I can use two different colors before having to wipe / wash for reuse. I also have and love the powder and blush brushes from this brand.

Perfect small blush brush
I think I found the perfect small blush brush! My skin is relatively sensitive and I didn't like the texture of a lot of brushes I tried, including some popular brands. But this brush makes me feel so comfy when applying powder blush, and I like that I can apply my blush precisely in the area I want. I have already bought two of these and can't live without this brush!
