JARLINK 2 Pack 30X 60X 90X Illuminated Jewelers Loupe

I paid less than $10 for this set and at that price point I consider this an excellent value.

This is a steal! I bought these to inspect my plant and they work perfectly. I would definitely recommend this product.

It was so small it was hard for me to navigate it while looking at jewelry! I need something bigger.

This would be a nice unit...the unit on the bottom, with 3 dedicated LED light sources and those lenses, which actually do magnify at the listed powers...IF it worked as described in the instructions! But when I buy some new gadget, for the first time, and it comes already defective, I WON'T TRUST it enough to give it a second chance to waste my money and time. This JARLINK magnifier, the one shown in the bottom of the photo, the one with 3 dedicated LED lights is supposed to turn on the LED for the 30X lens, immediately when you open the box-like casing. The problem is, sometimes it works, but doesn't stay on. Sometimes it does stay on. And sometimes, it doesn't go on, at all. And at these listed magnifications, you really need good illumination. Well, the LED for the 30X lens is bright, but okay... WHEN it WORKS. But it doesn't always work. You have to finagle with the case to get the unit into a critically narrow position to get the light to stay on. The one for the 90X lens is simply way to bright, making it difficult to see any detail in the specimen. And the UltraViolet LED in the middle is rather weak. Of course, you wouldn't want a UV light to be too bright, because it can damage your cells...like the retinal cells in your eyes. Blind is not fun. I really like the concept of this unit, and the two lens side-kick is also nice...but a defective light switch simply should NOT be in a new item. That's the sort of frustration you feel after a tool that worked perfectly well for five years, suddenly fails. You don't need that frustration. Find another illuminated magnifier...there are others...

Works great, lights are bright!

Well I just wrote review freezing this product great for the money seems to be missing one extra battery possibly two. Other than that I think it's going to be very useful for checking out nice edges after sharpening. I'm sure it is great for up close examination of anything you wouldn't need a microscope for. Scott

Perfect for inspecting the sharpening job on knives! I bought two of them and they do a great job! Feels like a microscope almost but very portable

They work real well to find makers marks and other stamps on gold and silver. Cannot comment on 90x magnification as I haven't used it on gemstones. Two different lights on each one are helpful. One loupe slides out and light turns on when fully extended, which is very handy. Also comes with 3 extra batteries!

Good optics to identify small samples

The flat one was good to use. I used it to check my diamond GIA #. The other one not so much. But could also be my lack of experience using it.
