My 18 year upgrade
I am enjoying these clubs. I came from a 17 year old set of MacGregors that had worked very well for me - I'm usually in the mid 90s when playing with them. I am having more rounds in the 80s now. It could be that I am playing more and that is helping out too. These are a set that have a little less loft in them than other sets of golf clubs. But for me, I am having more distance with these clubs than my last set of irons. I was hitting my 7I approximately 150 yards. I am hitting these Wilsons around 165. Again, it could be that I am just playing more and am actually improving. Here are the lofts for the clubs: 4I - 23 5I - 26 6I - 30 7I - 34 8I - 38 9I - 42 PW - 46 I like the clubs and the way they look!

Solid irons
These irons worked out great for me. I've used them a couple dozen times so far and really enjoy the way they feel. The Wilson 4 iron (loft 23) is similar to my Cleveland CG16 5 iron (loft 24) distance wise. Manufacturers loft varies so I just had to re-calibrate my distances per iron.

Most Underrated Brand
Wilson did it again. They’re incredible irons that feel so pure and soft (as you’d expect from forged irons). I love them and will buy another set just to have to replace when my current set wears out.

Best feeling clubs I've ever swung.
After 3 days of breaking in these bad boys, with more than 1500 swings, I am shocked by how great these clubs feel. For good ball strikers that want workability and good performance across the face, I can't recommend these any more. These clubs performed very consistently in what I've tested them for so far. Swinging regularly, I've found that I'm getting a consistent gapping across the clubs (about 13 yards for me). These clubs feel a smidge on the heavy side, which makes it easier for me to feel the clubhead when I'm trying to draw/fade or add/remove power to the swing. Thin shots and misses to the toe/heel on the face give you a lot of feedback into your hands (they're gonna bite you a little bit and let you know what you did wrong) without leaving you 30 yards short. I spent a bit with each club intentionally thinning my shots and missing to the toe to see what performance looked like, and outside of a couple accidental blade shots, I didn't have a single ball miss more than 10 yards short of expected distance. The low irons (4,5) didn't carry as far doing this, landing 15-20 yards short, but were much flatter and rolled out an additional 5-10 yards on a flat driving range. In terms of workability, I think these err on the forgiving side compared to players cavity backs, but I was still able to work draws and fades without much trouble. They were more difficult for me to hit a snap hook or slice with than blades or other players irons, but those situations are rare and risky regardless, so these will keep your game plan a bit more honest. All in all, these clubs feel like butter when you strike em pure, and they let you know when you hit em poorly. Very consistent, very beautiful too.
