Pete the Cat: Pete at the Beach (My First I Can Read)

My great granddaughter loved the book. She read it about 3 times in one day and then remembered most of the new words. She was excited. Cute story. I've already ordered another Pete the Cat book.

My grandson is 4 and this book is really helping with reading skills. Not only that but he figured out that maybe Pete was afraid to try surfing by the way this heartwarming story was told! Good job😀.

Why did Pete the cat not want to swim at first, but now he wants to swim? Mom says it was a cute book about trying new things. Lots of simple words - good for learning how to read.

Fun book for the kiddo. Loved the story of getting over your fears and going for it. Would recommend for 5 and up.

This book is not especially well written or engaging. That being said, it will still be enjoyed by beginning readers who already know and love Pete the Cat. Students choose this book because of their love for the character, and it is a good addition for a classroom library. It is not a good read aloud book.

Fantastic art with simple to understand words and phrases. This is a great book for 3 - to 6 year olds.
