Light Duty Appliance Mover (AM1200-VS)

I am a 60-year old horsewoman, relatively strong, but small. To have my tack room floor tiled, I tried to hire someone to move the appliances. The only service I could find was the washer/dryer supplier, and they refused to move the refrigerator that they hadn't sold to me. I bought this Airsled for less than the cost of having the washer and dryer removed and later re-installed! And, I LOVE it! I needed the adjustable motor, because there was very little clearance between the refrigerator and countertop. The Airsled works perfectly on smooth concrete floor, tile, and wood floors. I had to use the plastic sliders that come with the kit for the broom-finish concrete aisle and going over door thresholds. And, I built a platform out of 2x4's to go under the vanity, which was too high off the ground. The Airsled is easy to use, and it eliminates all of the lifting involved in using dollies and carts. I moved all of the appliances and cabinets by myself, and I have been raving to everyone about the Airsled ever since.

I am 63 years old and my heavy lifting days are over. I needed to move our front loading washer and dryer on pedestals from the front of my house to the back. I thought I would give this try as professional movers would probably cost half the price of this item.I was amazed how well this worked. Once lifted, it was very easy to push the heavy appliances across the floor. It took me about 15 minutes to move both from the front to the back of my house. My flooring is luxury vinyl plank and the skids moved easily over it even with the heavy washer-pedestal combo. Plastic pieces are included for moving items on higher friction surfaces. Although I did not need or use them, I believe they work fine, but would take a little longer since they would have to be repositioned as the item is moved along.Having this equipment on hand will allow me to move the appliances out to clean behind them whenever I choose too.The air sled is expensive, but I could not be more pleased with my purchase.

This product, while on the pricey side, is worth every penny. This permitted my wife and I to trial fit, and arrange specialized dryer duct work exactly, with minimal effort. This is a back saver, and a marriage saver, you will not regret the purchase.

When you look at how cheaply the pads are made, and what looks to be an imported pump, this should be less money than it is. That said- you're not going to find anything else- so suck it up and buy it. It does what it’s made for perfectly. I have a stacking, full size washer/dryer in an enclosed space. I can’t move it even an inch myself. This allowed me to pull it all the way out, by myself, to clean my dryer and dryer vent. How much is it worth to prevent a dryer fire? I think it was worth it.

I was hesitant to spend the money, but it has 1000% been worth it! I’ve been redoing my house and have been moving furniture and appliances around like crazy- I’m a 5’2 110 lb girl and I’ve been able to move everything by myself. I had a stove installed by professionals (that I PAID extra for) and they immediately scratched my redone floor pushing the stove into place. I should have done it myself with my new air sled!! Best invention ever, if you’re thinking about getting it- the answer is yes.

Delivered as promised. It’s a back saver 1000%. It just makes sense to have in the arsenal if you have to move a heavy appliance by yourself. It still would save 2 people a lot of heavy lifting. If you have to deal with appliances for work such as dryer vent cleaning to move stackable units, or anything else. It’s a VERY useful tool. Look past the cost, it just makes sense.

Just as it is advertized. Made moving a pedastal dryer an absolute dream come true. I fought this thing for two years and airsled is a life saver.

Had to install my LG Washtower in a tight cabinet (1" clearance on each side) and adjust it for level. Would not have been able to easily glide it in and out to adjust without this tool. Best $500 bucks I ever spent. Now I can move in and out for water intake filter cleaning. Also moved a full size refrigerator into a cabinet with 1/8" clearance on each side. I don't know how people lived without these things. Protects hardwood floors as even wheels of heavy appliances can cause impressions. Used it on top of Ram Board and 1/8" masonite. It will move over slight height differences.
